  1. Anywhere between 6-10 and 10-6 is realistic. So I’ll say 8-8.
  2. Borderline criminal that Maccagnan and his goatee still have a job. 99.9% of GM’s don’t survive Todd Bowles and Christian Hackenburg.
  3. I’m fully expecting the pick to be Rashan Gary for the simple reason that like Josh Allen last year so many people on here are against it.
  4. If Ansah’s shoulder checks out, he’s probably way lower risk than Clark or Clowney. Not as much upside, but no draft compensation and nothing contract wise that will approach clowney or Clark.
  5. This is the time of year where teams bring in vets for visits and tell them if the draft falls a certain way, we’ll sign you immediately after.
  6. Seattle doesn’t have all that much leverage. They still have to pay Bobby Wagner and they are right at the cap after signing Wilson. Clark can force his way out if he plays hardball. A 2nd probably gets it done. Throw in Lawson if you have to. Clark, Star, Q Williams/Oliver, and Hughes is a hell of a front 4. For those clamoring for offensive weapons with 1st or 2nd round pick, how likely is it Allen is gonna be able to mesh with Beasley, Brown, and Kroft plus a highly drafted WR or TE in Year 1?
  7. A lot of these questions will be answered over the next 9 days. Will Hughes be extended? Will Lawson’s 5th year option be picked up? Will they trade for Clark or Clowney? Would Hughes or Lawson be included in any trade? Will they take DL in Round 1? What about Ansah? Lots of dominoes lined up and ready to fall.
  8. Yeah, I’d think Wilson contract extension means Clark is gonna be traded.
  9. This. Brady is a different QB when he gets knocked down a couple times. He is not effected at all if he has to step up in the pocket. And since he’s made a deal with the devil, I fully expect him to keep playing until he’s 45.
  10. You can’t let things go this far with your star QB. Gotta keep them happy. Doesn’t seem like Seattle has tried very hard. Wilson is extremely underpaid and they haven’t exactly surrounded him with offensive weapons.
  11. Well, it’s looking likely he won’t go top 3. And who knows what the Raiders are gonna do. So there could be decent chance he’s there at 5.
  12. Didnt they just take a DT last year high in the 1st?
  13. Would you give up pick 9 and pick 40 for him? Tampa would probably trade down from 5 if Williams falls to them. Tampa could probably still get Devin White at 9 and their GM likes to trade down.
  14. I think it just means that other teams know that Arizona has zero leverage. Teams know Arizona has to trade him and Rosen didn’t exactly light it up in his first year despite the circumstances. And the draft is 2 weeks away with potentially 4 first round QB’s. Might as well wait to see if your guy falls to you in the draft, and once Arizona takes Murray, Rosen’s trade value drops further. Could prevent teams from trading up for a QB as Rosen is the consolation prize if your guy doesn’t fall to you.
  15. Hard to see a scenario where one of Bosa, Q Williams, Josh Allen, or Oliver makes it to pick 9. Even if Devin White and 2 QB’s go before us and Jax takes an O Lineman, Detroit probably takes whoever drops. Probably need 3 QB’s to go before us to land one of the 4 premier DL.
  16. How would you like be in the Giants position? They clearly need a QB and passed on a bunch last year, and the BPA at 6 will probably be a DL or LB.
  17. Not seeing how Williams is gonna be some dominant guard at 6’4” 301 pounds. Nelson was 325 at the combine and put up 35 bench reps compared to Williams’ 23. If he can’t play LT, not sure he projects anywhere else at that size.
  18. He kind of looked like an Average Joe in size/physique compared to the other O Linemen at the combine. I don’t expect him to be ripped but I did expect him to be bigger. Doesn’t mean he can’t be good, but he doesn’t really pass the eye test from a standpoint of a guy who looks like he’s gonna dominate NFL D Linemen. But maybe he’s a reverse ‘Looks like Tarzan, plays like Jane”
  19. Swap 1sts with Seattle for Frank Clark. At 21, take Christian Wilkins. Trade up from 40 and take Metcalf or Fant at end of 1st.
  20. Definitely seems like this could become a game of chicken between Beane and Gettleman. Quinnen Williams and Oliver are both top 5 talents. Good chance 1 of them is available at pick 6. Gettleman trying his hardest to convince everyone he’s not taking a QB at pick 6. Jags aren’t taking a DL at 7. Beane might think Williams or Oliver fall to 9 if they get past the Raiders.
  21. Can’t see them franchise tagging a 32 year old edge rusher at $20m per year. I think they extend him at $12-15m per year for the next 2 years. Even that is questionable for an edge rusher on wrong side of 30.
  22. Yes. 9 for 21 and Clark. We have the cap space the next 3 years, and 21 is a better spot for WR/TE.
  23. And Bobby Wagner who’s the Russell Wilson of their defense. Makes so much sense for Seahawks to swap Clark for an edge rusher on a rookie deal.
