  1. I’ll believe it when he actually signs on the dotted line with another team. Tampa Bay is the only option left for him that isn’t better than retiring with some dignity. If that doesn’t happen, I can still see some kind of intervention that brings him back to New England.
  2. High motor lunch pail signing alert!!!!
  3. I think as a show of good faith, Bills should at a minimum guarantee the next 3 years of his current deal. Considering what they gave up for him, they’re clearly not cutting him anytime soon. Gives Diggs some peace of mind for injury and maybe keeps him happy for awhile before he asks for more money.
  4. My guess... $7m per year. Without elite edge rushers, Oliver can’t be our only DT who gets in the backfield. If we’re gonna sign Reader, not sure why they’d keep Star. A penetrating DT like Phillips makes more sense.
  5. Another thing to think about. Nobody knows when teams are gonna be able to have organized team activities. That makes it even harder for a rookie WR to make an early impact.
  6. I think re-signing Phillips makes the most sense now. Can’t see them adding another older edge player after Addison.
  7. If he’s good with his contract, I’m good with what we gave up.
  8. Jeez. I hate the guy with a passion, but I’m starting to get embarrassed for him.
  9. Give me any 2 of Reader, Phillips, Quinn, Addison, or Griffen.
  10. I think that’s why Bills can get him on a good deal if Frazier has a history and can vouch for him. He’s 32 and left the team for a little while for personal reasons. Vikings are up against the cap and there’s probably not many teams who are gonna throw a lot of money at him.
  11. It was non-guaranteed funny money. I imagine Minnesota was gonna cut him if he opted in.
  12. Griffen feels like a Bills signing. He can give you what Lawson would’ve the next 2 years for probably half the price. Just a feeling, but I also feel like Jordan Phillips ends up back in Buffalo.
  13. Honestly, it’s better for them if free agents keep turning them down. Saving the Jets from themselves. They need to actually start building through the draft and low radar guys. Any big name who comes there is just cashing out.
  14. OBJ is exactly the type of explosive playmaker this offense needs. Worth the risk in my opinion because on the field he’s the missing piece.
  15. Wouldn’t surprise me to see him back if Bills don’t land Reader. It only takes one, but still can’t see anyone breaking the bank.
  16. Damn. 50 votes is a crazy thin margin. Media made it seem like it was definitely gonna pass.
  17. The point is nobody is put in harms way and everything can be conducted remotely like it was for about the first 30 years in the league. Might even give people a distraction and prevent them from going out. Thanks for saving the world though. You must be fun to hang out with.
  18. Give the people what they need!!!! Seriously though, I’m not sure what prevents free agency and the draft from happening. The physicals can be done later. And flying in draft prospects is a relatively new phenomenon (15-20 years). People need something to take their minds off what’s going on and a sense of normalcy. Delaying free agency and the draft because some anal GM’s need to fly in draft prospects so they can ask them if they could be any animal what would they be would be a missed opportunity by the NFL.
  19. Josh needs a vet RB to pair with Singletary for pass protection alone. I know it was only 1 game, but Singletary almost got Josh killed a couple times in the playoff game. We don’t need to add a rookie to the RB rotation. I personally think Beane will go after one of the top RB’s in free agency.
  20. Melvin Gordon. 4 years, $28m. Josh is still on the unconventional side. Best way to improve the offense is to give him a top RB. Need to add a vet to Singletary.
  21. With the questions surrounding him and how the WR draft class is universally viewed as excellent, I can’t see Higgins going in the 1st round. Nobody is gonna reach for a WR in 1st round when there’s so many good ones you could still get later.
  22. If he’s a difference maker, sign him up. It takes 2 to tango. Beane can’t just wave a magic wand and get the best free agents at positions of need. A lot less difficult to do that in the draft where you can maneuver up or down to fill needs. Or get really lucky and have Oliver drop into your hands.
  23. As much as we all like Eric Wood and he was a good center, there’s no comparison to losing the services of a legit All Pro LT for 10 years. But we probably still would’ve sucked at the end of the Ralph years and in the middle of the Pats dynasty anyway.
  24. Kid is definitely a winner, but there are legit questions about how dynamic he will be in the NFL. Playing with Burrow and another WR who will probably be a top 10 overall pick next year also greatly helped his production. Teams weren’t really able to key on him. I like him. Not sure I like him enough at 22.
