  1. Doubt you could get Campbell for a 6th. Any team with the cap room will want him.
  2. Not sure why Jags would let him walk and get nothing in return. If he’s that good, somebody will trade a 2nd rounder for him like Clark and Ford last year.
  3. Fair enough but you’re gonna have to pay more in guarantees to at least Gordon and will definitely have to commit longer term to both of them. A 3rd is probably too much for Gurley with that contract and his knee, but the Bills will not be able to spend $90m in cap space this year and whatever free agent RB they sign the Bills will not be able to walk away after 1 year like they could with Gurley.
  4. He’s still only 25 and 2 years removed from being NFL offensive MVP. 2 years $22m with no money guaranteed outside this year isn’t a huge risk especially to a team like the Bills who have tons of cap space this year. His knee and contract are the reason they won’t get anything more than a 3rd or 4th rounder for him. But the Bills are in need of a power home run back and have the cap space.
  5. That’s if they cut him. If they trade him, they have $12m dead cap and save $5m in cap room this year.
  6. I hear ya. But he’s still only 25 and his remaining contract isn’t terrible. Basically 2 years $22m left with no guarantees.
  7. Trade for Gurley? Rams supposedly looking to unload his contract. We have plenty of cap space the next year or 2. Might be able to get him for as little as a 3rd or 4th.
  8. I don’t understand the outrage. A dynamic stud RB would greatly help the offense. Singletary is a nice back but doesn’t exactly scare defenses.
  9. 1. Get an elite pass rusher via trade or free agency. 2. Sign a competent starting OT in free agency 3. Draft the best skill position playmaker in 1st round. Draft another in Round 2. 4. Let Lawson and Phillips walk and fill in the rest with replacement level depth players
  10. This. That looks like a complete rebuild. I’d be burning up my phone with trade offers for Joey Bosa if I were Beane. That dude was miserable there when they were a playoff contender. There’s no way he doesn’t hold out this summer without a new deal.
  11. Yeah. At no point watching that game last night did I think the Bills need to upgrade their LB corp significantly. What we do need is an elite edge rusher in defense, and on offense we need more physical playmakers and improved OL play.
  12. I thought the officiating was excellent for a change. Too bad they can’t call the rest of the season including playoffs like yesterday.
  13. I don’t agree that we could’ve won the super bowl this year, but the chiefs O Line was terrible tonight. Not sure our OLine would’ve played much worse. It’s why Mahomes looked so bad for a majority of that game.
  14. I actually feel better about our QB after watching that game. You need a QB who can make plays at the end of games to win the big one. Allen has his faults he needs to improve on, but I’d rather have him than Garoppolo any day of the week. 49ers have a super bowl level defense and running game but it still wasn’t enough. They needed their $30m per year QB to make a play in the 4th quarter and he couldn’t.
  15. KC can’t win it every year. Thankfully they’re not in our division. And a big takeaway for me from that game is that you need a QB that can make plays outside the pocket to win the big one. NFL pass rushes are too good now. How would you feel right now if Garoppolo was our QB at $30m per year?
  16. They were being too aggressive. Garoppolo is not good. Up 10, with him as your QB and that running game, you run the ball. His passes on that drive were batted ball, ball in dirt to wide open Kittle that Kittle makes circus catch, ball overthrown to Samuel that luckily wasn’t intercepted, then Garoppolo run out of bounds for 3 yards. Moral of the story is you can’t win a super bowl with a mediocre QB like Garoppolo in today’s NFL. San Fran has a great defense and great running game. You can only hold a great offense line KC down for so long.
  17. Garoppolo is trash. If you can’t make a play outside the pocket in today’s NFL, you’ll never be anything better than average. And he isn’t even that good in the pocket either. Congrats to the Chiefs.
  18. This is how a football game should be called. Tapping the QB’s head not being called either. Why do they have to call all that garbage the rest of the year?
  19. if I were a 49ers fan, I would not be feeling good at all. Garoppolo looked horrible on that last drive.
