  1. Why even play safeties against Brees? Dare him to throw it down the field. Amazing how soft Green Bay defense is playing. You know somebody like Belichik would do just that. Make the opponent beat you doing something they aren’t comfortable doing.
  2. Both teams are bad. Fitz makes dolphins competitive, but they gotta go to Tua sooner rather than later.
  3. Exactly. He doesn’t have the arm strength to throw the ball to the sideline or over the top against a prevent defense.
  4. He can’t throw the ball downfield.
  5. Brees gonna be able to dink and dunk for 90 yards in a minute? So stupid if they kick this field goal. Too much respect for Brees.
  6. No fight left in these Saints. Raiders playing some inspired ball.
  7. Raiders look good. Brees looks old.
  8. Burrow will be solid but he has no elite NFL traits. I’d also worry about injuries because he’s kind of slight but plays with a big heart. He’s gonna take a lot of hits.
  9. I don’t think there’s any position in any sport whose success is as dependent on the coach and organization as QB is. Darnold was doomed the second the Jets drafted him. Would have been the same if the Bills drafted him between 2000 and 2016.
  10. It was the right time in Allen’s career and where the Bills are right now to give up a 1st for Diggs. I’m sure somebody we could’ve drafted will end up being as good or better than Diggs, but Allen and the Bills are ready to make a leap right now.
  11. I thought the Giants Defense looked good. On the other side of the ball, every time Barkley touched the ball there were Steelers all over him. That’s part O-Line and part no respect for the QB. Jones is a system QB. Upside is Titans Tannehill.
  12. Steelers are stacking the box against Barkley. Forcing Jones to beat them. Jones doesn’t scare defenses.
  13. Fowler and Herbstreit are outstanding. Jones just doesn’t look very dynamic for a guy drafted that high. Not sure where the upside is.
  14. Could see him ending up in Seattle and turning things around. Jags have a toxic vibe. Marshawn Lynch 2.0?
  15. There’s your answer. 1 of the 4 who can’t be signed will definitely be a kicker. Probably a QB too. Most likely where Bass and the QB from Georgia will end up.
  16. I actually think the potential of no fans or a lot less can greatly help a rookie kicker especially one that didn’t play for a college that plays in front of 70k+ fans. Not saying Bass beats out Hauschka but the uniqueness of this season probably helps Bass.
  17. Kind of interesting how the majority of the guys on the list were not high 1st rounders.
  18. There’s about 200 mediocre white dudes like myself who make 6 figures based mostly on the fact that we look like our bosses or customers for every black person given preferential treatment by college admissions.
  19. Can’t see this being a real contract past the first 5 years. Maybe 5 years, $200m with $120m guaranteed. Anything more than that would be voidable by the player or team.
  20. Hard to compare Tyrod and Josh when their offenses were completely different. McCoy was the focal point of the offense for Roman. Josh is the focal point for Daboll. Josh is asked to do way more than Tyrod was. I think the best comp to Josh is Newton.
  21. That’ll show’em, Roger. Shouldn’t the consequences be more severe than last time they were caught cheating? That’s typically how things work, but apparently not in the NFL. Next time they get caught cheating, it’ll only be a 5th rounder.
  22. It’s hard to even measure anyone from about 2005 until Pegula bought the team. Ralph’s main goal during that time wasn’t winning games. Marrone probably the best during that lost era. It’s hard to bash Jauron and Gailey because of what they were dealing with. That makes Greggo and Rex the bottom 2 with slight edge to Greggo as the worst.
  23. I think this is more about shaming states that aren’t doing their part than being able to enforce anything.
  24. He was great for so many reasons, but I never saw a guy who could bend and contort his body to get around defenders like he could. It’s like his upper and lower body weren’t connected to each other like other humans. He could engage with the O-Lineman with his hands and upper body while his legs were getting around the same O Lineman.
