Our Defensive Ends had a rough game and that’s with Lewan out almost the whole game. No push and inexcusably lost contain too many times to count. And as others have stated, Edmunds looked lost, slow, and soft. And that 3rd and 19 conversion on Tennessee’s 2nd possession was atrocious. Just looked like a lot of players heads weren’t in the game.

Sometimes our RB’s got stopped in the backfield but I saw plenty of holes and running room on some plays. Singletary isn’t hitting the hole hard enough right now.

Agreed. There’s dudes out there hungry for a shot who will run with reckless abandon. Josh is too valuable to be calling designed runs because our current RB’s are too small, slow and not physical enough.

I don’t know if Yeldon should get more touches, but there’s gotta be something out there better At RB than what we got. Defenses give no respect to our running game. Even when OL opens big holes, Singletary is not getting more than 5-6 yards right now. They need a hungry RB who’s gonna run with some violence.

How come other teams can find street free agents at RB who come in and run hard and give their offense a boost? Singletary is too small and too slow to not be looking for something better. At worst maybe Singletary gets the message and starts running harder.

Bottom line is we weren’t ready to play. Can’t say I blame them but it is what it is. Josh wasn’t sharp, there were a lot of drops and a lot of penalties but we still moved the ball. The defense is concerning and has been. Hughes has to stop with the selfish inside rushes. All the defensive ends need to have better contain. Edmunds needs to play with more violence. Can’t have a MLB who plays that soft. Monday will show us what they’re made of.

I’m not even gonna get mad about this game. But they better show up on Monday.

Our Defensive ends are pathetic. They get no pass rush and never contain the QB or RB.

I’ll give Tennessee credit. They’re making The offense play disciplined and take the underneath pass. For the most part, we have killed ourselves with penalties and turnovers.
