  1. Maybe but why blow up the OL when for the most part they were excellent giving Josh time to throw and he put up the best passing numbers in team history. Much easier to find a more violent powerful back who can get tough yards and move the chains. I’d settle for a RB who can fall forward for an extra 1-2 yards when tackled. Singletary leaves so many yards on the field.
  2. Knox rarely catches a pass downfield cleanly. Kind of a fatal flaw for a Tight End. I think he found his niche in the 2nd half of season more as a gadget/halfback. He’s got no problem catching dump-offs and using his athleticism. Heck, I’d rather line up Knox in the backfield on passing downs than Singletary. This offense needs a Tight End who’s a downfield passing threat.
  3. Can’t be a 1 trick pony and win championships. You’re gonna come up against a team that’s gonna take away what you do best. Even though Singletary was a draft miss, not sure why the coaching staff has a Peterman-like affinity for him. Coaching staff preaches no entitlement. If we had a RB who could’ve run with some power/violence, there was 5-7 yards a pop minimum.
  4. No way he’s gonna cost a 2nd rounder. Philly might even cut him. But I do like the idea of bringing him in. Philly has been a dumpster fire. I think Ertz still has a lot left. I also think a guy whose wife is one of the best soccer players in the world is gonna be motivated to stay in great shape into his mid 30’s.
  5. Article lost all credibility for me when 5’9” 190lb Matthieu is referred to as a big safety. He’s awesome but he ain’t big.
  6. I have no problem with what Beane did last year in free agency on the D-Line given what was available. They can’t all be winners and like some have said most/all of the D-Line contracts won’t kill you if you move on after a year. I will have a problem if he doesn’t cut some of the fat this year and make a run at an elite pass rusher.
  7. In terms of free agents, Leonard Williams. Guys who might be available via trade (also longer in the tooth) include Khalil Mack and Fletcher Cox.
  8. look what a true #1 WR did for the WR group and the offense. DL needs its Diggs this year. Paying 5-6 JAGs $8-10m per year is not smart allocation of cap dollars. Go get a stud who demands double teams and he’ll make everybody better.
  9. I like Milano but paying him more than $10m per year is a gross mis-allocation of funds. He’s a good player but doesn’t rush the passer and doesn’t shut down Tight Ends. He’s a luxury player for a team like the Bills without a pass rush. That money needs to be spent on a pass rusher or somebody who can slow down the top Tight Ends. I’d offer him 4 years, $30m.
  10. not talking about guys at the upper end of the food chain. KC doesn’t need those for the next couple years. Yes, I’m talking about guys like Bell who are looking to resurrect their careers and go to KC on a 1 year deal in the hopes they can get a bigger deal somewhere else the following year.
  11. All their money is tied up in 9-10 players who are the best at their position. They can re-structure 3 or 4 of them and get under the cap. As long as they have Mahomes, Kelce, Hill, jones, Matthieu and Clark, they are super bowl favorites. And players will take less to be there now that they’re super bowl favorites every year.
  12. Why does Dane Jackson. a 7th round pick from 2020, have to sign a futures contract? Aren’t all draft picks on their rookie deals for at least 3 years?
  13. Leonard Williams please. Switch has turned on for him. Elite talent and now an elite player. You wanna beat the Chiefs, you need studs up front.
  14. Hopefully Oliver takes another step next year, but we absolutely need to land a premier pass rusher this offseason to take the next step. Look at how KC is built. Jones and Clark are in top 3 with Mahomes in highest paid on that team. More than Hill and more than Kelce. Paying 5-6 JAG’s on the DL $8m each is not a championship formula. Pay 2 studs $20m and they’ll make everybody playing next to them better.
  15. Barrett looked pretty awesome on Sunday against Green Bay.
  16. this times 1,000. We had too many guys who didn’t really belong on the field Sunday night from a size, speed, physicality standpoint.
  17. I like Milano but there’s no way I’m paying a LB who isn’t a pass rusher or who can’t blanket TE’s more than $10m per year. Same goes for Edmunds.
  18. never said Brady’s not a D-bag, but unlike Rodgers he holds himself accountable and his teammates seem to respect him more.
  19. Can’t see how these signings help much. We don’t need a high priced RB. We just need an average RB who can get tough yards. Moss was on his way to providing that before he got hurt. On offense We need a legit TE more than anything. Knox can be a good #2 gadget type TE. On defense, we need to move heaven and earth to get some pass rushers.
  20. A lot of people have crazy families so I’m not gonna judge him by that, I’m going more by how he carries himself on the field. Seems like it’s never his fault. Brady lays into his teammates but he man’s up when he makes mistakes too.
  21. He’s a great player but seems like a petty D-bag. Brady is too but Brady seems to channel it into team success. Rodgers seems like a me guy.
  22. Hughes deserves to go out on his own terms. If he still wants to play next year, give him a 1 year extension and convert his 2021 salary into a signing bonus to spread the cap hit. Hughes at $5-6m cap hit is worth it. The rest of the vets on the DL can go.
  23. 2nd round tender for RFA’s projected to be $3.4m. Original round tender $2.2m. Not a huge fan of Wallace, but kind of a no brainer to bring him back for $3.4m. Corners aren’t easy to find. If Bills original round tender him at $2.2m somebody will give him more money than that and not owe the Bills anything because he was an undrafted free agent. Can’t see the Bills making any splash signings in the secondary other than drafting a big nickel to cover Tight Ends.
  24. He needed to take off running more last night. He’s almost unstoppable when he drops back and then takes off. I feel like he could’ve had 8-10 yards running every time he dropped back. If he did that, it might have settled him down and it definitely would’ve forced the Chiefs out of their tight man coverage.
  25. Wasn’t Wallace an undrafted free agent? Gonna have to 2nd round tender him or else a team will sign him. Still think he’s worth the $2-3m for the 2nd round tender.
