  1. You don’t let 25 year old franchise QB’s go. If I don’t get a young franchise QB in return or a Chase Young plus picks, I’m not trading him. He can sit out if he thinks it’s so bad.
  2. Why would Houston trade him to the Jets? If I were Houston, here’s who I’d trade Watson for... Mahomes, Josh Allen, or the rights to Lawrence. Maybe Chase Young plus a couple of WFT’s first round picks. I need one of those 4 guys in return to move Watson. Maybe Herbert too. I would’ve considered Burrow if he wasn’t injured.
  3. Jets will draft a QB. They can’t mess around with Darnold another year and pass on a QB when they’re drafting at the 2nd pick. Miami would be insane not to trade Tua and whatever else Houston wants for Watson if that’s what it takes. Miami has the draft capital to get it done, but not sure why Houston would want Tua unless they just need a name so they’re fans won’t immediately revolt. If they don’t land Watson, can’t see Miami wasting the 3rd overall pick on the 3rd best QB when they drafted Tua last year. In regards to New England, good luck figuring out what they’re gonna do.
  4. JJ Watt got anything left? I’d go after Fletcher Cox too. Vets trapped in dumpster fires who want to chase a ring... kind of nice to finally be on the other side of that equation.
  5. I used to think the same thing about our 3rd and long defense but it’s not just a Bills phenomenon. Happens all over the NFL. Saw it happen multiple times in last weeks playoffs.
  6. Amazing what that guy did with a noodle arm. Only thing separating him from Brees is 1 ring.
  7. I’m assuming Daboll didn’t run Josh against Baltimore like he did against Colts because Ravens are a more violent defense and he didn’t want to expose Josh to hits. Short of a Timmy Smith coming out of nowhere, it’s gonna have to be Josh doing it all.
  8. I could see Tampa Bay job opening up. Arians does not look good physically. Wouldn’t be shocking if he retires for health reasons.
  9. Hard to root against one of your own’s career advancement. But I don’t think you can under-estimate how bad the play-calling was on Saturday night. There was little to no adjustment to the wind conditions or how the game was playing out. That performance should’ve given anybody cold feet about Daboll. Let’s hope he finds his mojo on Sunday.
  10. Game over. Watching Brees is like watching Obi Wan Kinobe at end of original Star Wars when his light saber is flickering.
  11. Tampa scores 7 here, it’s over. Tampa’s D is pinching up on Brees and his squirt gun arm.
  12. Brees never had a strong arm. Now it’s just weak. Not sure he’d be able to throw the ball 30 yards in the air next week at Lambeau. Brady is still dangerous though. He has plenty arm left if given a clean pocket.
  13. Brees has zero margin for error. Has to thread the needle on 4 yard passes. I’m not even sure how they play him in a bad weather game at Lambeau.
  14. Can’t see Brady losing this game. Brees is too limited. New Orleans already got their trick play in. As an aside, what’s the deal with Arians? He looks horrible physically.
  15. Really bad decision by Josh keeping it in 1st down. Singletary had at least 3-4 yards if he gave it to him. Then throw it up for grabs to brown? If you take 5-6 yards there, you can go for it on 4th. Good thing punt pinned them deep.
