  1. Other than Manuel and Cuandjio, the picks weren’t that bad. Giving Woods a C+ loses credibility. He’s had a good career and is a top notch #2 WR.
  2. Works for Brady somehow, but this dude seems like more of a celebrity than a football player.
  3. Other NFL owners would kick Snyder to the curb in a nanosecond to get a guy with as much money and power as Bezos into their club.
  4. Green Bay or Buffalo. I went with Green Bay because I’m a Bills fan and still conditioned to think we can’t have nice things.
  5. It looks like the escalators are strictly based on playing time. Should more accurately be called ‘Playing Time Escalators’ instead of ‘Proven Performance Escalators’
  6. If this is true, I can’t see the NFL and Players Union penalizing the current players by lowering the cap this year. More players could’ve opted out and put the entire season at risk. I don’t know how you penalize the guys who had to basically quarantine for 5 months and get tested every day. Every game was played and the season was successfully finished on time. So guys playing 7 years from now can get 10% yearly increases and the current players see a 5-10% increase. More likely scenario is lopping 1-2% off the increases in the future so the current guys don’t get screwed.
  7. I think I’d rather have Watt than have to pony up pick 30 for Mack, who turns 30 in a few days. If Watt is truly asking for 2 years $25m, I think he’d be a great addition.
  8. Here’s a question... would you rather sign Watt or give up pick #30 for Khalil Mack?
  9. The fact that Beane is giving up this early on signing Milano hopefully points to plans to bring in somebody on defense he thinks will have a greater impact than Milano. If it’s Kirksey and shuffling the deck on the D Line, I think most will be unhappy. If a difference maker is brought in on the D-Line, I think most will understand letting Milano walk.
  10. Whatever happened it’s clear the Bills don’t want to wait around for 4 weeks.
  11. Maybe not, but it’s what comes next if you wanna win a Super Bowl. You need those final pieces to push you over the edge from contender to favorite.
  12. If Ertz gets cut, I’m assuming he’ll land in Indy. Just like McBeane has right of first refusal on ex Carolina Panthers, Reich has same on ex-Eagles.
  13. Watt choosing Bills has chance of bringing other guys along who are also chasing rings. Kind of like what Brady’s presence does. There’s a lot of vets who are gonna get cut. If we can’t get Gronk, then a guy like Kyle Rudolph is intriguing if Vikings cut him. Does Sherman take less money to chase a ring. Milano’s replacement. A vet RB. I think Watt picking the Bills would have an add-on effect.
  14. The timing of today’s Milano story is kind of strange/random with 4 weeks to go before he becomes a free agent unless Bills are moving on. This would make sense.
  15. Timing is kind of weird on this story. Free agency is still 4 weeks away. Either Bills have no interest in bringing him back or they are so far apart in negotiations they’ve mutually decided to move on.
  16. $15m of Wentz’s 2022 salary becomes guaranteed this March so they’d have $15m dead cap in 2022.
  17. Yeah, because he’s got an All World arm and has the arm strength to throw the ball all over the field. Goff doesn’t have that. At 43, Brady wins because he can still make all the throws and but mostly because he’s a once in a century team leader at the QB position.
  18. Mahomes and Watson changed the NFL. Crazy that those 2 weren’t selected until the 10th and 12th picks. NFL has changed drastically in the last 3-4 years. All about dynamic traits at the QB position now.
  19. Not exactly a ringing endorsement from the Colts if that’s all they were willing to give up.
  20. Watt would be smart to sign before Von Miller hits market. Watt has it to himself now.
  21. I don’t know. Suh, Gronk, and Fournette were all 1 year types that made a huge difference for Tampa.
  22. Newton is better than most backups but nobody is giving him a starting job or even chance at one after the year he put up in New England. With limited cap space, I would very confidently bet the under on somebody giving him $5m.
  23. Dude probably not getting the offers he thought he would.
