I think a little more balance on offense is what we’re all looking for. When a team sells out to stop your passing game like KC did, you gotta be able to take the 5-6 yard gains on the ground they were basically gift wrapping to us. I still think Moss will be a solid RB that can do what we need. Comes down to the amount of resources you wanna devote to it. Giving Gronk a 2 year $20m deal and drafting Etienne at pick 30 would certainly make our running game dynamic.

I’m sure Roseman doesn’t want Ertz going to the Colts for no compensation and you gotta think that’s where Ertz ends up.

Well, for those who want Etienne or Harris at pick 30, nobody’s taking a RB from picks 26 through 29. And I doubt 2 go before pick 25 but you never know.

There’s definitely a risk in signing him but for 1 year $7-8m, at best you unlock his potential and get the difference maker this D Line needs, at worst it’s like having Murphy for another year. There’s also a big risk chasing one of the higher priced free agent pass rushers.

I’d take a chance on Clowney. We got a plethora of JAG’s on the D Line. Dude possesses elite talent. As McDermott says, come here and be the best version of yourself. He needs us as much as we need him and he’d come cheap.

Interesting thought. They could spend some money at Tight End and Right Guard in Free Agency and take a Etienne at pick 30. That would be a tough offense to stop.

Perhaps there’s restructures/extensions that have yet to be announced but are official. Pretty sure the Bills announced all their moves so far.

Geez. Y’all make Beane’s job easy with these low expectations. We ain’t broke. Far from it. We are $10m under the cap and could easily free up another $15-20m with Hughes, White, Dawkins and Diggs re-structures/extensions. We need an upper-tier pass rusher and an in-line Tight End who isn’t just a 6th Offensive Lineman. Get it done Beane.

At this point I’d be surprised if pick 30 isn’t a DB of some kind... a CB or big nickel.

When’s Tampa gonna release OJ Howard or Brate? If I were Beane, I’d offer a nice contract to Gronk. When he inevitably re-signs with Tampa at least you might drive up his price. Then I’d sign whoever they cut from Brate or Howard.

I don’t see it. We have a lot of youth on the D-Line. Oliver was a 1st rounder in 2019 and Epenesa was a 2nd rounder last year. We need youth in the secondary. A Defensive Back is my guess at pick 30. At pick 61 my guess is a Guard/Center.

It’s fine if Star, Butler, Addison and Hughes are making around $5m per year. I fully expect Beane to bring in an impact pass rusher in free agency. Those 4 at $20m total. Oliver, Epenesa, Zimmer, Phillips, and the other depth guys are on rookie deals. If Beane can flip Murphy and Jefferson’s money into a stud, the D Line should be improved. And the pay-cuts of Butler, Addison and hopefully a restructure of Hughes paid for Milano.

I’d guess we got around $11m now after Addison pay cut and Williams signing. Hughes extension/re-structure would give us another $3-4m.

He was willing to be Josh’s #1 WR when Josh was coming off a pretty ugly passing year as a rookie. I assume a bad team will give him a decent contract to help a young QB.

I’m assuming Bills have a little over $20m in Cap room right now. There’s probably another $10m out there in a Hughes extension, Addison pay cut, Lee Smith retirement. That’s enough to re-sign D Williams, get a good pass rusher, and improve the Tight End position. The rest of the needs can be filled with draft picks and bargain hunting for vets.

There’s something to be said for a little continuity and 2020 was a crazy year for everyone. Could’ve been a case of Butler was willing to take pay cut and Jefferson wasn’t. I got no problem keeping him at a reduced number.

WR’s want to play with good QB’s. We had to pay top dollar for Brown when Josh was coming off a 50% completion year. Now I bet plenty of WR’s would come here for a cheap 1 year deal for the chance to play in a high octane offense.

Hopefully Butler can play the Jordan Phillips role if Star returns or we sign/draft a space eater.

Probably means Brown better be open to a pay cut.

Josh no brainer. Even if I liked Edmunds more, no way I’m committing that to him now. The franchise # isn’t much different and I can delay that decision another year.
