  1. Agreed, but now you also gotta question the guys motives for demanding a trade. I’m sure he’s known these lawsuits were coming. Did he think he could run away from his legal troubles to a new town?
  2. Beane couldn’t match Nsekhe’s one year $1.75m contract with cowboys? I hope Hart is making less.
  3. Didn’t realize Fields is that big. 6’3” 227lbs and runs a 4.4. Creative OC’s like Daboll can find ways to win with an athlete like that until Fields develops as a passer.
  4. Well he clearly utilized way more than 20 if Sports illustrated randomly reached out to a female masseuse in Houston area to get her thoughts on the allegations and she happened to be victimized too. Watson seems like a really weird dude. I’m not sure I believe he forced one of them to perform oral sex, but impossible not to think the dude is a major pervert.
  5. Working out with Phillips today did no favors for Rousseau. Phillips is a special athlete and made Rousseau look like Lurch.
  6. I’d love to get JOK but Zaven Collins wouldn’t be a bad consolation prize. Collins is an impressive player who could solve our defending the Tight End problems. Big LB who can do it all. Covers good enough and allows you to play bigger in the back 7.
  7. Yeah. He’s a guy you’d have to trade up from 30 to get. He’s what you’d create in a lab for an edge rusher. Speed, power, size, ability to bend and tremendous overall athlete. If there were no injury/concussion issues, he’d be top 10 pick.
  8. Wow. I switch my pick from JOK to Phillips. He has Bruce-like bend and body control. If he can run that fast, he’s got the talent to be special.
  9. I hope not. You’d probably have to be targeting a 2nd round guy on your board to be reasonably sure you’d get him at 30. I bet Beane has 3-4 guys he’d trade up for if they fall to a certain draft position, a couple he’d be happy with at 30 and then a trade down scenario if the he doesn’t trade up or like who’s available at 30.
  10. 41 - Jaelin Phillips -Edge; 61 - Eric Stokes - CB; 72 - Pete Werner - LB; 87 - Javonte Williams - RB Traded one of the 5ths to move up for Williams. Got no opinion on the guys after the 3rd round.
  11. I know everybody thinks pass rusher is our biggest need and it probably is. But look at our roster. Edmunds is our only back 7 defender taller than 6 feet. We need some size and length back there to cover Tight Ends and bigger WR’s.
  12. If we trade up for a RB, I might break my TV watching the draft. Dolphins are getting Pitts or Chase. New England got the 2 best free agent Tight Ends and Agholor us an upgrade. Jets are gonna draft a hot shot QB. If we trade up it better be for someone who can rush the passer or cover pass catchers.
  13. Totally agree. You think the Chiefs don’t want a do-over on the Edwards Helaire pick? An indulgent pick for a team that cut both its Tackles and desperately needs Corners and Linebackers. Please don’t take a RB in the first 3 rounds.
  14. A 2023 1st rounder is generally considered a 3rd rounder this year if you discount a round for every year out. And you usually judge a trade by similar deals in the past. Indy got two current year 2nd rounders and a next years 2nd rounder which you’d discount to a 3rd rounder.
  15. As stated earlier, Indy got more from the Jets to move from 3 to 6 than Dolphins did moving from 3 to 12.
  16. As much as we all like to blame the front 4 and Edmunds for the defense’s regression, the secondary needs an infusion of speed and size. Need another playmaker back there. Not saying this guy provides that, but I fully expect a high draft pick in the secondary.
  17. Bills need a closer more than anything else. Oliver has as much probability turning into one as the thirty year olds available in free agency right now. Not against bringing one of these thirty year olds in or Clowney but they don’t deserve more than Hughes/Addison money.
  18. Maybe Singletary runs with a little more toughness in a contract year. At worst he’s your 3rd string since he’s so cheap. I think Moss has a good year and Breida provides an element of speed we didn’t have in the backfield. RB should be fine next year. Still need upgrade at Tight End.
  19. That’s a lot of coin. Would’ve been nice addition but not at that price tag.
  20. Yep. Breida our first offseason addition that improves team speed. I think our 1st rounder is a CB or big nickel with speed. Our secondary is good but needs an infusion of speed.
  21. Love the signing. Don’t waste another high pick on a RB. You can get good production from backs like Breida.
  22. Dunlap seemed like he was in backfield on every play against us. Could be a better pass rushing version of what Shaq gave us at End. So could Clowney too. I’d take either of Dunlap or Clowney, whoever comes cheapest for 1 year.
