  1. Would you trade OT Spencer Brown for CB Michael Ojemedia? Both were 3rd round picks 1 year apart. Ojemedia is a big corner that Bills supposedly liked last year. Broncos obviously in need of an OT. Could make some sense for both teams, but not sure when you’re allowed to trade a guy you just drafted.
  2. The time to trade him was before last Thursday. Denver and maybe Miami are only teams left. Although it would be hilarious if Green Bay traded him to Houston and that dumpster fire.
  3. I don’t know. I mean you gotta admit Oliver, Epenesa, Rousseau, and Basham is a bit over-kill in terms of high draft picks on the D-Line the last 3 years. There’s far worse positions to be using that kind of draft capital on, but just seems like we could get old at WR and DB rather quickly.
  4. I don’t necessarily disagree but if Beane was sure in what he had with Rousseau I can’t see him making the Basham pick when you also factor in Epenesa last year. If all 3 of them hit, Beane isn’t gonna be able to sign them all to a 2nd contract. Seems like it was a pick 3 and hope at least 1 or 2 hits deal . My guess is if Beane knew Basham was gonna be there at pick 61, he would’ve picked a DB at pick 30.
  5. I don’t think it’s absurd to compare him to some great players because Rousseau has unique traits. On the flip side I think it’s telling that Beane went with another defensive end in the 2nd round. Rousseau is very hard to project. That’s why he was available at pick 30.
  6. Howie got that 6th rounder trading back 3 picks in the 3rd round so he could take a lesser DT. So he’s all good now. I’d think the Colts are most likely destination but maybe there’s a handshake deal that he won’t go there.
  7. Bradshaw is a buffoon. Completely different era from when he played. Steelers had a roster of Hall of Famers when he played and could keep them all together without a salary cap. And they had a Hall of Fame coach, a great owner, and a great organization. Rodgers has none of those things. Plus Packers traded up for Love. It’s not like he fell in their laps like Rodgers did. Rodgers ain’t the most likable dude but he’s got plenty of reasons to gripe.
  8. Hope he’s ok. But this is why it’s an exercise in futility trying to hand out immediate draft grades. Teams have access to so much more info than the internet experts.
  9. Let’s get him one of those 23 and me tests 😃😃? Could be worth a 3rd rounder. Disclaimer: I fully agree with the intent of the Rooney rule.
  10. Exercising Josh’s 5th year option should’ve been done the second that the window opened to do so. Beane for whatever reason decided to lump the 2 decisions together. The only one up for debate was Edmunds.
  11. Immense physical talent and being in the right spot is what makes him a really frustrating player. I think we can all agree that he has to start making some game changing plays. I can live with the 5th year option being exercised because he’s still only 23 years old but there’s no way I’m committing more money to him beyond 2022 without some difference making plays this year.
  12. Hopefully the most expensive DL part ends after this year. Hughes, Addison and Star are most likely playing their final season with Bills. Butler’s contract is up too. Our defensive ends should be cost controlled for at least the next 3 years with epenesa, Rousseau, and Basham.
  13. Seems like the spin is already being put out. I’d think it hugely matters to the player whether the 5th year option is picked up. These guys are 1 play away from serious injury. $12.7m guaranteed is a big deal and it signals where they are on the totem pole of the organization. Every player drafted in front of him had their 5th year option exercised except Rosen.
  14. There’s zero reason for Ertz to show up to anything. Eagles decided against long term extension. This is last year on his deal and none of the $8m remaining is guaranteed. Eagles could cut him on August 31 and he’d get no money.
  15. I’m not looking for the Pulitzer Prize in investigative journalism, but I don’t think it’s too much to ask that one Bills reporter be non-shill and brave enough to ask a follow up to Beane that he couldn’t seriously be contemplating not exercising Josh’s 5th year option.
  16. Doesn’t take a curmudgeon to state the obvious that the only real decision to be made is Edmunds. I mean Darnold got his 5th year option exercised.
  17. Most teams have announced their plans regarding 5th year options. Kind of bizarre that Beane is waiting this long. Josh is obviously getting his option exercised. Edmunds is the only decision that has to be made. Reporters who cover the Bills not doing their jobs very well by not pressing Beane for an answer about Edmunds and allowing Beane off the hook with his semi-nonsensical answer tying the decisions together.
  18. How’s this for a way back comp. Ted Hendricks. The Stork. Interestingly enough, Hendricks also grew up in Hialeah and went to the U.
  19. 6’7” with 6’11” wingspan and 11 inch hands with good closing speed and the body control to slither past blockers is rare. Have no idea how he didn’t end up on a basketball court. He’s Scottie Pippen plus 50 pounds of muscle. You just don’t see length like that on an NFL field. Excited to see what he can become.
  20. ‘Fire Howie’ chants are being started at Phillies games. This video feeds the flame.
  21. Really not that hard to understand the title. Thought it was funny and witty.
  22. Roseman trading down 3 spots for a 6th rounder and Donahue giving him the heisman when howie comes into draft room to get some self-adulation is priceless. I hope Beane and the rest of the GM’s in on Ertz if there are any call this chiseler’s bluff.
  23. Prediction: Ertz or Sherman will be a Bill by tomorrow.
  24. I think they keep Hughes and Addison. Best 2 of Epenesa, Rousseau, and Basham play.
