Find somebody other than Dorian to take off the field to get Milano on. We have enough undersized back 7 guys as it is. Dorian might not be the greatest in coverage but least he can take on and shed a blocker.

Dorian is our only physical downhill LB. Replacing him with another small back 7 defender didn’t help today.

Play a gutless conservative 10 yard cushion and give them 12 yards so they can go for it on 4th and 5 where you send a 4 man rush that didn’t get home the entire game. Then we probably still have a 35% chance of winning if we kept all 3 timeouts for the last minute, but it drops to 7.7% after idiotically burning that timeout.

True, but in reality that first year bought them nothing other than the expectation that they’d improve on that where as McBeane’s first year bought them enough time to tear it down. Maybe the truth is that Daboll is a little full of himself thinking he was responsible for Josh’s success and could do the same for Jones even though he’s a much lesser talent than Josh. Completely different expectations within the 2 organizations. Most Bills fans content with winning the division and making the playoffs every year given our history. Giants fans expect Super Bowls. They expected the team would keep ascending after year 1 when in reality they completely over-achieved.

It’s too violent of a game to play a 17 game season. And now that 7 teams make the playoffs, there’s a lot of games that mean nothing in the first half of the schedule so there’s no reason to play in these early season games if your banged up. Add in the Thursday night, Monday night, and international games and it’s a watered down disjointed schedule and feels like an inferior product compared to even 10 years ago.

I would put Taron at safety and get Hamlin off the field. That interception last night shows he can play the deep center role but he can also come up and tackle. Use Ingram at nickel until Milano comes back then go 3 linebackers with Taron at safety.
