  1. I'm a long way from convinced that Dems will vote for Trump but neither party has a monopoly on stupid.
  2. You have to be on a good TV show to be on the Mt Rushmore of TV characters.
  3. This is Jack Brennan, the PR Director for the Bengals. http://imgur.com/i3IfafU
  4. I am sure Rico will rethink his position after reading that. I'd like to hit Pacman's helmet with a sledgehammer and then watch his acting.
  5. By the way, this is Bill in NYC's way of getting us all to tell him that his worst fears will not come true. Everyone please support him.
  6. There's no embellishing getting knocked out cold. He was unconscious when he hit the ground. One of the only similar pieces of garbage I ever saw was Bryan Cox. He was also a charmer. I remember him getting ejected in Buffalo spitting up at fans, holding his crotch and flipping the bird to Buffalo.
  7. Why would Saban leave Alabama? I don't see it. He's clearly a great coach but NCAA success often does not translate to NFL success. Can you tell me an NFL team currently in need of a coach where he'd succeed for sure? I can't. The only organization where he'd succeed is Pittsburg, where they hire good coaches and stick with them within a loyalty-based organization. They are the only team in the NFL built like that and they are not hiring. If Alabama was struggling and Saban was on the hot seat, I could see it but not under other circumstances. Saban will stay put. Don't worry Bill: You will get to root for one winning football team for years to come.
  8. I am perfectly OK with their faces on the Mt Rushmore of best TV characters ever.
  9. Not relevant to the penalty or outcome. When you play out of control, this is what happens.
  10. Y U like readin lik dis seem lik it is K wit u huh? Mayb it gud on @Twitter but here we make effrt to tlk a littl btter.
  11. would HAVE would HAVE would HAVE This is not an ESL board.
  12. No doubt. Burflict hunted his head. Care to revise this?
  13. Burflict LEANS his shoulder in to make sure to hit Brown's head. Clear penalty--not even close. Probably draws a flag 90% of the time. Burflict being Burflict, it certainly draws an easy flag tonight.
  14. Good to see the right has its tripe "news" sources too. Donald Trump is leading all candidates going into the Iowa Caucuses. That the GOP is in disarray is not a leftist creation, it's a fact. If we had a wide open convention, the electorate would get to know every GOP candidate 100x better and take an interest in a convention not seen in 50 years. And who knows, maybe the GOP's disarray would result in galvanizing around a new vision, which the GOP desperately needs.
  15. Jeb Bush is the establishment? Say it ain't so. The Rep field will come down to Cruz vs one of Rubio, Bush, or Christie. If the Republicans are split going into the convention, it will be the best thing for them (and dare I say it, it will be even better if Trump is still around then). The convention would not reach a candidate on the first vote and then it would be chaos. Every American would watch every ballot and the eventual winner will get the hugest boost ever coming out of it as long as the losers conceded gracefully. The media would have a 14 foot boner. Republicans who want to see their party shaken should root for this. Dem convention will be a scripted borefest.
  16. That was not HBO's fault. Blame the creator. "Here's my counter offer to your counter offer: Go F%$# yourself." Ian McShane owned that show.
  17. McCoy's contract hurts the Bills for sure but he is an impact player. I can live with paying him a couple million more. The Bills need Rex Ryan scheme disciples. I don't love Rex but I'm all for building a team that will do what he wants. Pegula is right: Constant change is a formula for failure. Bryant, LAwson, Rambo...a few other second tier guys started to emerge as "Rex Ryan guys" as the year progressed. NEed more of them for next year especially at LB.
  18. Urgent care centers are fixing this in cities.
  19. Best coach of all time. Fun to second guess him now and then.
  20. Maybe. It's not worth discussing really. The Bills have issues to fix well ahead of WR. HArvin's return or not should be about issue 70 on Whaley's list for this off-season.
  21. Looks like it was in November. http://www.sportingnews.com/nfl-news/4660508-percy-harvin-knee-surgery-injury-update-bills
  22. He was a jerky teammate in Seattle but not sure I'd say he was a scumbag, which I reserve for off-field stuff, unless there's some other incidents I never heard. We saw no evidence of scumbag behavior this year. When he initially went out, I thought he was a crazy jerkoff but it turned out to be legit medical.
  23. If the Bills have room for a flyer heading into camp, I guess it's OK. Not a topic of particular interest in the offseason. Harvin and Goodwin are both lottery tickets with low probability of ever paying off. If the Bills lose them, who cares. Whaley/next-GM should be able to find better options than Hogan to compete with Woods for the #2 WR.
  24. Clay was the leading receiver on the team when he got hurt. Even having said that, I agree that he should have been used even more.
  25. I'd say ILB is a bigger need than RT. The linebackers as a unit totally sucked this year. But if the Bills draft OT, I won't argue. Just as long as it's a tackle or LB, I'll be OK. Even a DE is fine since that group is aging. No skill position players. I'm not sure if Spikes was the answer, but the LBs are definitely the problem. The Bills linebackers are atrocious. Not a playmaker in the bunch. Whaley came from Pittsburgh so hopefully he can get some LBs in draft or free agency.
