  1. I usually like the sport science segment, but that one was weak.
  2. If after three or four seasons a team gets two and half starters a draft, you're in good shape.
  3. I used to do drugs. I still do, but I used to, too. I saw a commercial on late night TV, it said, “Forget everything you know about slipcovers.” So I did. And it was a load off my mind. Then the commercial tried to sell me slipcovers, and I didn’t know what the hell they were.
  4. I would not be the least bit upset with Levitre, Wood, DeCastro
  5. In other news, rick in Hartford has been waived
  6. No matter the need, after pick #3 or so, there is no downside to selecting a player who most consider a perennial pro bowler.
  7. Lonesome Dove War and Peace (seriously) Name of the Rose
  8. I get the rep issue, but since when do LTs run 40 yards? As always, these combine stats are way, WAY over-rated. They just serve to diminish everything a player has done ON the field. Strength isn't measured by the bench press, but by leverage, technique and football IQ. Bills have drafted plenty of freak combine guys who can't get it done in the game.
  9. To quote Samir in Office Space, "This is horrible, this idea." http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xlA9bNk3b5Q
  10. Yeah, real dogs. So, you grew up in the Playboy Mansion?
  11. I gave up McDonald's and similar kinds of fast food a few years ago. If I'm going to eat "fast food" I will have "healthier" and much better tasting burgers at Five Guys (no fries), or tacos at Chipotle (just chicken, a little cheese). I try to stay on the lower end of the calorie scale at those places and I don't feel like crap afterwards.
  12. I watch the Ravens every week and have been to quite a few games and I can say without reservation that Flacco is nowhere near an "elite" QB. He's certainly not better than Fitz and probably in the 11-18th best in the league. Flacco has very low leadership ability, very little poise and seems to lack confidence. He can an arm to "make the throws" but has problems executing, despite having a very good receiving talent and a great RB. Despite his "numbers," Flacco's popularity has tanked and fans have little confidence in him. In many ways, Flacco has regressed and needs to step it up if Baltimore is going to have chance at beating Pittsburgh and going anywhere in the playoffs.
  13. Awesome. I love that guy. Anyone who could live with that legacy on their shoulders is OK with me. As Thurman said, "If I played better, we would have had a closer kick."
  14. That's Apple Jack! Come on!
  15. Sanchez sacked by Littlejeans . . .
  16. Based on all available data, this officiating crew will almost certainly help or hurt the Bills, or make absolutely no impact. I'm willing to put money on that.
  17. Could someone explain the site, I don't get it.
  18. I went to the Ravens/Cards game, and while I like the Ravens, they looked absolutely dreadful for the first 30 minutes. If the Cards weren't so bad, I'm not sure the Ravens would have scored 10, let alone the required 30 to pull out the win. Despite his numbers, the Ravens won in spite of Flacco (who looks like he will piss his pants on every down). I expect Flacco to get drilled in Pittsburgh. Therefore, it's hard for me to fathom how how Clayton believes the Ravens are the second best team.
  19. Your belief system clearly stems from a few core principles: Complain often, tell people they are stupid and never admit that you are wrong.
  20. Only intolerant of Christian-sect beliefs that conflict with universal human rights. I'd say the Jesus would find some so-called Christian beliefs intolerable, or at least a bit upset that intolerance is conducted in His name. It's a good bet there is a longer list of Muslim conflicts than Christian. I'm sure some Orthodox Jewish beliefs could rival some Christian-sects. Now back to Tebow. I think it's amusing that so many people take the Tebow-ribbing so personally, as if they're itching for a fight.
  21. You mean YOUR belief system (hence, you make my point). My Mom happens to be a protestant minister, and I can safely say there are sharp disagreements on many key issues even among so-called Protestants (not even taking on differences with Catholics, Evangelicals, the Amish, Eastern Orthodox, etc). Even if you take a quick look over religious history (hell, even the last 100 years), and it's amazing how people can get so upset about who is right and wrong about basic issues. And you gall to accuse me of not understanding the Christian belief system . . . But I will give you this chance: So, what IS the Christian Belief System?
  22. Ah, guess I'll have to wait for the sign.
  23. Oh, God, here we go . . . I wonder how many would feel the same way if his devotion were to Allah. It's not the prayer, it's the sanctimony. Moreover, I can't help ask when a player thanks God for the win, "What does that mean?" Is it "God's Will" when you lose and/or flat-out suck (Looking at you Timmy)? [That should stir the hornet's nest]
  24. That was all before their Feb 2009 Free Agency. The careers afterward . . . - Warner signed a huge two-year contract, played OK in 09-10, led Cards to the playoffs, got crushed by GB and then he retired. - Cassell was franchised by Pats(for $14M!), then traded to KC (6yr-$62M!). Not too good in 09-10, very good 10-11, kinda blows now. - Leftwich - I wouldn't exactly credit him with Super Bowl wins. Signed and then benched by Tampa Bay. - I'm not sure we need to go through the rest of the list to make the point.
