  1. Good topic, now I know who to ignore.
  2. The “gimmick” offense has some serious talent. The defense ain’t bad, either.
  3. I was about to post that . . . If they beat the Browns (hopefully twice), Jets, Dolphins or Patriots, all will be forgiven.
  4. This year, he can bank another 8 wins . . . Let's hope McD breaks Marv's record of 112.
  5. Says the guy who just predicted the regular season. Let’s worry about Dallas first.
  6. The Redskin game was a bit cold. Wind chill around 33-35 degrees Lots of layers. I can deal with the cold but even a slight wind is a drag.
  7. National games give me anxiety. I know it’s not accurate but I feel the Bills lose every time there’s a large audience.
  8. The broadcast team was wrong on clock management. There was a lot of time left, only up 10 and the Bills were clearly playing better in the uptempo offense. Bills were playing to win and good practice if ever in the same position versus teams that could easy score two touchdowns in eight minutes.
  9. Also, in the category of "Everything helps," Dallas- Pats game is at 4:25PM, which means they don't get back until very late. Let's hope it goes to overtime. I wonder if the Bills head to Dallas immediately after Broncos so they have three full days of practice.
  10. I only care about the Denver game. If Bills win, they need two more to lock up a playoff spot. If they lose to Broncos, the road is a lot toughter.
  11. Use the cocktail stick! Jackie Preciado Also: Outtakes of a Lending Tree commercial --
  12. I've been to San Juan a few times. In OSJ, my wife and I like the following: - La Taberna Lúpulo. A cozy "American" bar with an extensive draft beer selection. Also have nice small plate menu. Nice, open-air place to hang out for an hour or two to get out of the sun or rain. 151 Calle San Sebastian. - El Jibarito. Neighborhood restaurant not far from Taberna Lupulo. Good, cheap local food and drinks. If with a group, order a few things to share. Glorified street eats.
  13. Plus, long before a decision is made the tax issue would be addressed between the two countries.
  14. Long ball to Foster was barely a miss. Allen gave him a placed it where the DB couldn’t get it but Foster slipped cutting in on the ball. Without the slip Foster would have had a good chance For the reception.
  15. I think it started at 30%, now about 7%
  16. Dolemite on Netflix is excellent. Eddie Murphy is Oscar worthy. We need more Eddie.
  17. Which eventually turns into fewer stuff.
  18. Everyone should subscribe to the Athletic. It's worth the money and supports a product that delivers.
  19. Let's just call this what it is, the Hall of Fame is pretty much just a money making operation. I have no problem with that but it should at least be acknowledged. My biggest issue is there is one criteria (at least 25 years since a recorded release). However, that provides no other guidance as to what bands/singers are eligible. My own (I'm sure there are more): - Influence (strong weight). The music might be commercially successful but it was/is highly influential. - Originality What distinguishes the music? - Cultural impact Not necessarily world wide or even the US, but did they have an impact in some way - Pure musical talent. That may seem obvious but there are some bands that are just not that musically gifted. - Deep catalog. IMO, a few hits doesn't get you in. The other songs don't need to be hits, but it's a deep collection of quality songs and albums. - Hit music. Worldwide hits do help, but could also have a string of songs that set the tone for the genre. - Iconic signers/band members. Low weight, but I believe this has an impact. Recognizable, special talent, personally influential - Popularity. This may seem self-evident but should not be a heavy weight. Many people could know a band or singer but won't know anything about their music, couldn't name more than one or two songs and rarely, if ever, listened to one album, let alone the catalog. Truth is, must albums are terrible save for one or two songs. It's pretty rare for people to listen to an entire album anymore. Personally, I think it would be cool to have a Hall of Fame for only albums.
  20. Does Buffalo expect a blizzard this weekend? Otherwise, not a big fan of the reds.
  21. He would be nice to have but why would Buccanon would sign with Bills since there isn't near enough playing time unless a starter goes down. Plus, what do you do with Thompson when he's back? He'd be a great back-up but I don't see why he'd sign here.
  22. It's not very persuasive to equate Italian deli meat to explosives. No one ever was sent to the hospital because they sat next to someone eating salami.
  23. True, but it can be mitigated by imploring people not to handle or be around fireworks.
