Giants Jets game - Daboll's call to attempt a FG
Max Fischer replied to BillsIsrael's topic in The Stadium Wall
I assume you mean the QB run. However, it's not the same situation. Yes, the Giants *could* QB sneak, or even pass the ball, but DeVito demonstrated no capacity to throw and Saquon is by far the best option. -
Giants Jets game - Daboll's call to attempt a FG
Max Fischer replied to BillsIsrael's topic in The Stadium Wall
It was a no-brainer to kick the easy field goal. Saquon is great, but the whole stadium would know it's going to him. You could criticize Daboll's defense on the next drive, but the decision to kick that field goal should work 99% of the time. -
Would you care to provide evidence that McDermott's defensive timeouts hurt the Bills? Otherwise, it's likely an irrational complaint. This is at best, unproven. There is a much likelier chance that Mayfield and his linemen heard the whistle and stopped the play. Moreover, there is the chance that McDermott saw something that could have resulted in significant Tampa gain.

RIP Michael Gambon ( Albus Dumbledore "Harry Potter" )

A classic. I never understood why Open Range hasn't received more praise. I think it's a better film than his Oscar winning Dances with Wolves. -

Tremendous actor. Great voice. Played an outstanding villain in the underrated Open Range. -
The Browns defense is legit. I sure hope the offense doesn't get it self together. Watson is a dirtbag but if he just plays moderately well . . .

A Few Thoughts from the Commanders Game.....in no particular order
Max Fischer replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
FedEx Field. It's easily the worst pro football stadium I've visited (including Jacksonville). It was bad when first built but has worsened steadily over the past 15 years of Snyder's neglect. Parking/traffic is terrible (though the blowout made getting out a little easier), the concourses are narrow and uncomfortable, there aren't enough bathrooms, the food is mediocre, the beer selections are minimal, and the seating is cramped. I purposely bought seats under the first tier in case of rain, only to sit below an ominous hole in the roof above us, creating a steady downpour. (Everyone was shocked by the obviously crumbling hole in the tier above us while water poured from multiple locations throughout the stadium). I also agree with the vibe. From the dance show just before kick-off, to the bizarre half time, no TVs on in the concourse, no radio playing in the bathrooms, on and on. It probably doesn't make sense to spend too much money trying to make a better experience, but the whole experience is kind of depressing. RFK is likely the best location. About 2014, I went to a concert at RFK (possibly its last year in use), and the stadium swayed so much I thought it could come down. -
Over-reaction Three Weeks In.... Offense seems disjointed
Max Fischer replied to Billsfan1972's topic in The Stadium Wall
It doesn’t work that way. You can’t discount results because you beat a team so bad that they “gave up.” “Sure, he won the boxing match but that’s only because his opponent was knocked out.” -
Over-reaction Three Weeks In.... Offense seems disjointed
Max Fischer replied to Billsfan1972's topic in The Stadium Wall
So far, this is the most well-balanced Offense under McBeane. The Bills don’t need Josh hero ball to win. If necessary, the Bills could have unleashed Go Crazy Josh Ball, but it was never needed. That’s encouraging for the last 14 games and especially the playoffs. See: Bengals playoff game. -
Good for Moss, but it was still the right move.

Oline/QB Unforced Error All 22 Review - Week 2 Raiders
Max Fischer replied to Bocephuz's topic in The Stadium Wall
Max Crosby is an All-Pro and the rest of the LVR dline is replacement level. This analysis just proves that’s true, not that Brown had a bad game. -
Nope. Looked fine. Sidenote: NextGen is a nice touch.

It would have been easier if you just agreed with my original post. -

If some random account posts something that reliable sources have not, that's the first red flag. Then you go from there. Not that difficult, so I'm not sure why you're so riled up about it. -

It will take two minutes for you to verify that there is no credible source for a "law enforcement raid." That was made up. The same goes for the McLauren quote on another thread. It's made up. -

The unfounded rumors circulated on here are worse than high school. It only takes a few minutes to look up credible sources. -
I'm betting this is just a troll, but I'll still say, I'm a huge believer in Josh Allen, but he shares the most blame for the loss. If he played just OK, the Bills could have won.

This is a good list. Only one thing to add: The Sprinkle Cone has very good ice cream

If the Bills win tonight, does the narrative change?
Max Fischer replied to ChicagoRic's topic in The Stadium Wall
Week 1 narratives might not last past Week 2, let alone Week 16. -
YouTube NFL Sunday Ticket: Impressions?

I haven't watched a pre or post-game show in years. I find the availability of content so ubiquitous that it makes the pre-game shows irrelevant.
