  1. Levi is an average CB and that’s OK. He’s a very smart player who lacks physical characteristics. Since he’s very Coachable he has the talent to learn and improve. But he also has a low ceiling. Now for that play: Levi clearly didn’t expect to be all alone with Connor in space. At first, Levi look like he wanted to contain Connor and wait for help taking him down. However, Pittsburgh ran a barely legal, multiple pick play and thus Milano and Poyer were no where close to help. Once Levi realized he was all alone it was too late to make the tackle and besides, Connor is a handful for an LB and only a God like Tre White have a chance to make the play. Theres a lot to criticize and it would be nice to have a pro bowler opposite Tre White but in the end Levi has been solid since his mid season downturn.
  2. It's the worst. It's like the Olympics. There is no on-field analysis beyond, "That guy is the best." It's amazing Romo is the only good analyst.
  3. Another way to look at it, we are Saints fans. Even if Bills lose all three they make the playoffs if the Saints beat Colts tonight and the Titans next week.
  4. This is a lot like the Denver game but Pittsburgh has a better defense and Duck may be a lesser QB.
  5. Roberts is a God-send. On punts, he almost always makes the correct decision to catch the ball and I NEVER worry he will muff or fumble. Those skills alone are worthy of the roster spot.
  6. I firmly believe Matt Stafford would have been an all-time great on a decent franchise. It seems the vast majority of his “poor” play comes from desperately keeping the Lions in the game. I never understood why he stayed. I really like Josh Allen but if Bills drafted Stafford in 2018, Stafford would be the Lamar Jackson of 2019.
  7. It just makes sense to include all passing and rushing stats, which illustrates more about the players (RB, WR and TE, too). Should also add fumbles.
  8. If only there was an online program or machine, like a "playoff machine," you could use on ESPN or the New York Times.
  9. This year, I predict the Bills will not sell out a playoff game versus the Ravens or the Bengals.
  10. I thought this was about Sidney Crosby.
  11. I'll believe Brady and the Pats are no longer dangerous when they don't make the playoffs or at least lose in the first round. Go Bengals. Go Dolphins.
  12. Thankfully the President can still root for the Saudi Arabia.
  13. It WAS the right call or at worse, a wash. If the Bills kick the XP they have to get a touchdown AND the 2XP anyway. If they miss the 2XP they KNOW they need nine points and allows the Bills to work under that scenario.
  14. Yes, it "could" have been overturned but the league rate of overturned PI calls is 5%. You allude to two calls in other games, DURING the Bills game, as if that has any impact on the one they were playing. Sure, we could have a useless debate whether the call would have been overturned but it's not an "overreaction" to mock fans who somehow believe coaches are not aware that, at best, the league is overturning even fairly blatant PI calls only a small percentage of the time.
  15. I'd give him a C as well. The first quarter was horrid but Allen got better throughout the game. The Ravens are damn good and had a very good game plan. The Good: JA is a leader, he had them in a position to tie the game. It was not all Allen, the run game really picked up but Allen is their leader. I believe Allen's adjusted completion will be much higher. JA got better. He started to change plays, many of them worked. The Bad: Still lacks touch on most deep throws. (Though the Beasley drop was very nice - more that please) Broke the pocket too soon on some plays and stayed too long on others. Credit to Ravens scheme. Needs work on pre-snap pressure recognition. Would like to know if Allen didn't call hot reads or didn't pull the trigger. In the Middle: I love Frank Gore as a person and believe he's should be first ballot Hall of Fame, but I think he's starting to hurt the offense. Too one-dimensional. Receivers dropped a LOT of passes (Beasley, Knox were particularly devastating) Poor pass protection game (some runs as well). Watching live it looked like Dawkins worst game of the year. I wondered why Daboll didn't call any jet sweeps, or even motioned the sweep.
  16. Then don't blame him. The offense did not execute in the first half and still took a good defensive play to prevent the tie (or win with 2-pt conversion). I'm disappointed with the loss but encouraged that the Defense was great, the offense played better as the game went on and they demonstrated they can play with the best team in the league. On to Pittsburgh.
  17. I don't feel dejected. Allen got better as the game progressed and was a good DB play away from tying the game.
  18. For breakfast he eats kills four grizzlies with his bare hands and roasts them over a sequoia he cut down with a pen knife.
