There is no order. I'll stress again: if we expected ANY those things to happen we can not expect JP to do anything about it. Moreover, I agree, the play calling has taken a huge step back. No quick slants, not much play action, no reverses -- in other words, very little to make the defense hesitate a bit on the pass rush. Also, I think sometimes you need to take the "decision-making" away from a rookie, give him less of a progression, go for the quick hit.

If you think the Bills lost because of JP then you didn't watch the game. It's a team game, if you forgot.

Seriously, did you really expect to win with JP this year if you knew that ANY of the following would happen?: 1. The Defense played average at best. 2. The Defense could not stop the run. What 200 yards two weeks in a row? 3. The Defense STILL can't stop the 3rd and long. 4. The "Offensive" Line can't pass block for more than two and half seconds. 5. Either the WRs cannot get separation (either due to the player or play design). JP is a rookie. And we cannot expect a Rookie to win the game and play from behind all the time. JP is no different than any other rookie, he can only play as well as those around him. He CAN'T carry the friggin team. Neither Manning, Palmer, Farve or any other rookie has EVER done that (ok, maybe Marino). JP will get better when the TEAM gets better. Don't expect any different from Holcumb or any other QB.

I wouldn't. Cadillac is a beast, but a rookie. He's got the talent to sustain his start but it's unlikely, esp. not enough to exceed Palmer and Jones over the long run. I really like Palmer, I think he's got potential to be a top QB this year while Jones is a solid, if unspectacular back. Unless Tampa can play from ahead most of the time his carries will certainly drop off; and most rookies tend to wear down during the year and production becomes much more unpredictable.

I'll take a "hammied" Vick over Schaub. Dunn has played well with 171 yards on 37 carries (4.6) but Vick is close behind with 111 on 19 carries (5.8). Given Vick's injury history, I hope he's a much slower healer than Fletcher. But heals enough to play.

I'll take the win no matter what. The media and other fans opinion has no impact on Bills ability to win or lose the next game. The only matters is the win or the loss. Not sure why fans get so bent out of shape about "respect" for the Bills. It has no impact except to motivate the Bills players. God knows there are plenty of fans eating crow this week after going apolpletic when experts predicted a Tampa win. Of course, the other scenario is losing to a Vick-less Falcons, which we won't speak of.

I watch the game in a bar but I often thought: "where is Shelton?" I simply didn't see him in the game very much. Please tell me if I'm wrong but I thought the problem was Shelton WASN'T in the game enough.

Synder. He's driven that franchise into the ground, not that I mind. But the guy is insufferable even though the team has stunk up the league since his takeover. I'd rather have an 85% Vick than a 100% Schaub. Schaub is pretty good and may be a better QB than Vick. Also, you know what you get with Vick while Schaub is a big question mark.

We'll see. I'm not a knee-jerk Fish basher, I did see the game and while they did not play disasterously that was kind of the point. Better than last year, but I've yet to see how they are good enough to win many games. Though I won't be surprise if Miami's first game occupies 55 minutes of a 60 minute 2005-2006 Dolphin highlight reel. I will agree you can add Baltimore and Houston (though PGH is awfully good).
