2...even though the 3 wins in 4 years by the Pats is arguably a more noterworthy achievement, I doubt 4 straight even as a loser will be repeated. Damn them Cowboys as well: '92, '93 and '95. Maybe this 3 wins in 4 years is achievable (damn $#%& Cowboys) -
...um, fish. By the way, anyway read of the Aussie ab' diver that got taken head first, down to the waist by a 3-4 meter juvenile Great White this week? Man won that fight. Sign him Marv. Get 'er done.

The past three years marked the first time since early in Gilbride's career he had been solely a quarterbacks coach instead of handling coordinator duties as well. He found he missed the challenge of focusing on the bigger picture. ...Wow, Killdrive worked out there's a bigger picture. Congratulations. "I certainly enjoyed the last three weeks where I was able to envision a game unfold and be able to think through what the responses would be," he said. "It was an exciting time for me to be able to get back into it from that standpoint. You're the guy who's ultimately responsible for the success or failure of your offensive unit." ...It was fun pretending. Actually, i'm going to Sh$% myself next year when it's for real. At least as much of that responsibility rests on quarterback Eli Manning, the player with whom Gilbride has been most closely associated since Manning was acquired in 2004. In his second full season as a starter, Manning's progress was punctuated by inconsistent play. ...and Killdrive was brought in to ahem, correct this? Gilbride expressed confidence in his quarterback and said the offseason would be spent focusing on avoiding the mistakes that have plagued Manning over the last two seasons. The Giants are expected to hire a new quarterbacks coach in the coming weeks. Killdrive has a large body of work with the emphasis on mistakes. "You've seen some of the ups and downs of other guys in playoff games, and you saw what he did in our playoff game, and you can see he's right up there at the top with the people he's competing with at the position," Gilbride said. "The biggest thing with him is staying away from catastrophic plays that are momentum-killers. So it's really the consistency thing." Killdrive should be able to consistently show Elli how to make those catastrophic momemtum killers. The offense Gilbride takes over will be without retired running back Tiki Barber, the team's all-time rushing leader. It also lacked a big-play threat at wide receiver to complement Plaxico Burress after Amani Toomer was lost for the season with a knee injury in early November. Hmm, i never thought that Barber was one of those psychics, John Edwards need a retired RB? Gilbride said the Giants hope to add a running back through the draft or free agency who will vie for playing time alongside Brandon Jacobs. ...but that as it wont cloud his playcalling, he really doesn't care what happens...

WHAT A CLUTCH PERFORMANCE BY PRO-BOWL AARON!

Hansen overrated? Um, by who? "If not for the fact that he played at a division II school, Phil Hansen would have been a first round draft pick," proclaimed Bills General Manager Bill Polian. Oh? Polian may know a thing or too... He was named to the all-Rookie team, not a bad thing to accomplish, notably when Bruce was injured that year... As soon as Bruce was gone his inadequacies were exposed...did you even watch Phil Hansen play? So Bruce left after 1999 and Hansen retired in 2001... Did you follow the Bills 2000 and 2001? I guess not, that's why this thread is here. The guy was solid, not stellar. Quote that. His career numbers would support that. Now, what were you saying about AS? -

I think i've done my bit coming from Australia to see a Bills game this year. Is that not "fan" enough? -
G'day mate. About every 2-3 years: 1998, 2000, 2002, 2004 and this year. Yep, it's hellava commute... hope Sydney was kind to you

I remember an article about former 1st round pick Dimitrius Underwood doing self harm in Miami some years ago, also suffering Bipolar. Can they ban Spellman from flying? Freaky incident though. Was he flying economy- how'd he fit?

Hammer's lot. I come from Australia and always park at Hammer's...enough of a recommendation. It's next door to the stadium. Take your time leaving and traffic's never been a problem.

See he's calling out Mario Haggan now, well, at least by implication. I'[d be P%$^*D off for that if I was Mario (aside from the loss...).

He is obviously bad at tucking the ball as well. On Run left (over Peters, which they did a lot) after the handoff, Losman would roll right. Never once did a single D-line man follow him or for that matter the safety or corner spy him either on the plays i noted this happening. His hands are held out in front of him. It's clear he hasn't got the ball. On the other side, Favre still keeps the line honest for the play action long enough, pretending to keep the ball on his back hip. After some time this difference between the 2 became really obvious. Now is that the coach not picking up on this trait, not knowing or is it down to Losman to watch Favre playing Sunday and seeing it for himself and making a conscious decesion to try and keep the run defense honest a little while longer by copying? -
Is it just me, or is there no spirit on this team

Some of us mentioned that the only player trying to rev up the crowd was Hargrove. He did it all day and seemed to get into it as well. Not a single other Bill did this. This was noticeable. -
To all the folk in Buffalo, especially from here "The Stadium Wall" from Cindy (THANKYOU), Dianne (my voice is OK and I'll remember Tim Tams), Eric and Lisa (and Buddy of course), all the other Bills supporters I met from the lot and in the stands, Jim and the folk at WGR, Lee Evans and Robert Royal and their friends and family, a big thankyou for making this trip from Melbourne so worth the while. There are some truly awesome folk here that can make a lone Aussie thousands of miles from home feel like he's walking amongst family, that's special. To those posters, thanks again. Don't change. The win definitely helped keep that smile going long into the nite, but when amongst such friends, it felt as if it was a secondary consideration. I am deeply appreciative of the kindness afforded me. Thankyou and see you in a couple of years
