  1. Chris Ellis isn't seeing too much field either. He's stuck fast at the end of the que of the Bills ends (made up of a 1st rder, 3 2nd rder and he, a 3rd rder...high pickings in the ends).
  2. In the couple of games i've seen (early), Kelsay's played would have to be better than his previous level. That's a positive...
  3. ...i was around for the Gregg Williams era...
  4. I think it gets compounded when the other team is buying cake in the 4th round, let's say Jared Allen and then they walk out with ice cream! After some time, you'd hope that turning up to the ice cream shop with McCargo, Flowers, Kelsay, Denney, Edwards and Schobel (all Bills front picks taken Rd 2 after 2000) that other than Schobel, someone else would have some ice cream...at least occaisonally...
  5. Props to Kenny. Well done.
  6. After 4 seasons, that's YOUR roster at work DJ.
  7. This was discussed years ago... Lester has photos.
  8. I know he had friends caught up in the bushfires way back in February but he was ok. Did notice the absence when season started also.
  9. Likewise. He got good push on that pocket, didn't skinny it, but pushed it.
  10. I kinda got that impression from Gruden's comments as well. In Oz, a small cyclone or twister is called a "willie willie" !
  11. From about 1998, I came every 2 years from Melbourne, Australia for 1 game and sometimes a couple weeks of preseason.
  12. Oz- cable TV, 10HD free to air and NFL stream are all available. It's played on a Monday morning here though
  13. Who was playing LT for GB? Chad Clifton?
  14. Wouldn't the Favre ranking be for someone that was on the board as a "Hall of Famer", albeit with an occaisonal post that got "picked" at, only to retire from the board with us giving them their dues only to find out that they've re-signed onto another board and became much loved and appreciated there only to retire, again and then to find out that they've come out of retirement and re-signed elsewhere... ... ...
  15. Couple of comments FWIW... 1. I'd rather his high energy be used on making the pile than reading and reacting and running over to the pile. 2. I'm not sure what he's using that "Great" initial quickness for? It's certainly not getting to the passer or backfield stops. 3. He can seperate effectively? He seems swallowed consistently in games i've seen. 4. A solid pass rusher now gets what, 2-3 sacks per year? 5. Setting the edge be damned. I wish he'd close that edge down, or use that great initial quickness and technique to make a difference. 6. Wow, 28th overall. Wow. He's a high energy player granted. But I'd expect that in a salary he's gettin'...
  16. At least the Af2 is a great chance for Aussies to get over and play some football. Mind you, I don't know how they survive on the salary!
  17. Maybe he has less tape requirements, less to go through. It's 10 mins before training... really. So who was last off the field?
  18. A few runs audibled as well against a rushing 3-4 if they want 8 back can work, Otis Anderson (i said it) way back when...
  19. what's buddy going to do now...
  20. The TE route from the punt formation that the Giants sprung with Mark Bavaro (?) to beat San Fran in the NFC Champ game was a good one.
  21. Hansen. His 1995 (from memory) season was 10 sacks and about 120+ tackles... (memory may not be that good!). He averaged almost 6 sacks/ season in his 10 years, not sure tackle count.
  22. http://football.calsci.com/Positions.html ...seriously though?
  23. Kelly Slater... introduced surfing "outside" of the typical wave zone... Olympic Lifting- Dave Rigert formally the USSR
  24. As an alternate source: Jonah Lomu- Rugby Union.
  25. Was it Brandon Spoon who tore his bicep in his rookie year also?
