...from Billsdaily "No Word On Starting QB: Dick Jauron gave no insight on who will start at quarterback during today's press conference. He said he will discuss all personnel decision on Wednesday. Not exactly a ringing endorsement for Trent Edwards. He said he watched the film and saw some things that were good and some things that he needs to do better. He said he thinks he still has confidence in him."
Um... that's concerning. How do you question yourself about whether you have confidence in your own decisions? For me it's either you have confidence or you don't have confidence...
I wish he'd commit coaching "seppuku", do the honorable thing and resign. But reality will probably be that he'll take the easy way out and be here watching the playoffs with the rest of us. Let's face it. Wade, GW and Mularkey are still in the league after coaching the Bills, who'd knock on DJ's door for a job?
Please. Something positive from the season...really, what's he built in 2009 (or been building over the last 4 years- that's 4 preseasons, 4 drafts and 3+ 9games seasons to stamp his personality, his philosophy on this team) to see positive results possible in 2010. You know the "youth", "injuries" and it's "hard to win in the NFL" is coming...
3-5 at the half and he runs a 5-3 2nd half team into 8-8 and can PR his way by "youth", "injuries" and the 'ol "it's hard to win in the NFL" to be back in 2010. I was suprised as the next to see the Berlin wall fall in '89, but will Ralph eat the remaining years of that contract by keeping Dick, i'd be suprised again, i guess.
What's Seinfelds gag about serial killers... the safest person is the neighbor. They're always interviewed after saying that they were suprised, he was so quiet...
As a proud new dad of a baby girl , of course you want the world to know of a new Bills fan... My wife has already begun the apparell range in red/ white and blue. We're inflicting the pain of the Bills early! I have someone who can get up early Monday morning (here) and watch the Bills with me...makes me want to shout!
Wade moved into the 4-3 that year when Sean Moran was around and we lost a stack of linebackers. I can't remember how that D faired against it's 3-4 system.
