Our golf courses (Victoria) here were shut. Golfers argued that a sport where you carry a stick (so can measure distance) and chase a little ball around a paddock is naturally a socially isolated sport… heck, they closed the Police Academy. You’d think that a group of folk that could be ordered to follow rules are cadet police.

I think our 1st Lockdown anniversary, of which there were 6 in total, will be March 26th (Victoria, Australia). Ever been tested for Whooping Cough? Genuine question.

I grew up in Warrnambool and for NY it was our Summer holidays. Was always a blast. When too young we’d be at mate’s homes watching movies. When older, the foreshore is a party place. I moved to the city and worked in nightclubs and NY was always fun then too. Then marriage and kids and it wasn’t a thing. Divorced and re-partnered and we had a great time down at Cape Paterson this year.

Different side of road here… but the other nite someone drove past the turn right lane which had a Red Arrow. Being peak hour, was full. His lane was straight through on the Green Light. He got to the intersection, 1 car behind the 2st car in the turning right lane and then put his indicator on, and made a move to merge. As there was no room, he was blocking the lane. Just now, someone attempting to do a “3-point” turn but summoning Austin Powers in the tunnel. Took sooooo many goes. I work in the Transport accident area as well, seeing people years after a crash really helps your driving awareness!

Those checkups are still nerve wracking and then you realise not to let it define you. Onwards and upwards.
