I think the new vet makes sense. RT is the issue if Collins isn’t the guy. I’m curious what they do with Anderson (C, RT) during preseason. That may give us a hint. It’s a sneaky issue.

I agree on all counts, except that Collins has been brutal outside. I think grable might take that spot on pure merit. We’ll see during live game action though. Davidson and ST are an issue. But having seen him thrice this month … man he is smooth. He’s going to be a tough cut. I agree with you that they might go with 5WR, especially if hardy wins the PR job.

That was theatrics, and I agree that he otherwise didn't do much. But what he did on January 6 . . . it arguably saved the republic. That alone is something special.

I'll add a little context here, having seen a couple of practices. Davidson looks the part of an NFL player. Very smooth and speedy. Collins looks stiff and washed. I think they're going to have a hard time moving on from Davidson, and I wonder whether the Collins roster spot is contingent upon what happens at center.

Trump didn't win in 2016 as much as Hillary lost. And this time it's shaping up to be the inverse. Harris is not a great candidate. But she has the peculiar advantages of being a candidate and not being Trump. For those two reasons alone, she's likely to win. It's lost on the Kool Aid consumers here what a horrible candidate Trump is. I'm a moderate, and whatever beef I have with Harris isn't on policy. It's just that I don't think she's a great candidate and I don't love the way that she obtained the nomination (through no fault of her own). I completely agree with everything else you said, except for the point about Mike Pence, who, because of a fleeting moment and a show of character, may be one of the most consequential Vice Presidents in the history of this nation. "showing your a fool." The jokes with this guy write themselves.

But HCQ isn’t even of questionable efficacy. It is if no efficacy. Some old weirdo thought it was a good idea, and people like you jumped on the idea without a shred of proof. And, other people, believing the nonsense that the weirdo and you peddled, died because of it.

I think it’s more likely she doesn’t want to deal with the fallout if Shapiro’s apparent imagination about his service in the IDF and also aggravate the Dearborn vote. I wouldn’t pick him either. Frankly, I’d take Kelly, but I suspect she’s leaning toward Walz — maybe he helps with Wisconsin. I don’t know. Not something that isn’t. Maybe the vaccine. Maybe social distancing. Maybe KN95 masks. Maybe hand washing. Maybe Paxlovid. But certainly not pepperoni pizza. Or HCQ.

That’s trump. It’s what happens when one tries to defeat a pandemic with HCQ and Lysol. National debt? That’s trump too. Big mess. It’s what happens when the rich get huge tax cuts and the middle class gets crumbs. Bodily freedom? Not if you’re a woman. Same old show with the weirdos. And we’re not going back.
