"The Kremlin and the Whitehouse are aligned"
SectionC3 replied to 4th&long's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
But what security? That's the point of Zelenskyy's question. Which neither Trump nor Vance answered. Putin can't be trusted, Zelenskyy wanted some sort of answer about what happens when Putin inevitably breaks his words, and MAGA lapped up the boorishness and ignorance on the part of our leaders that followed. It was and remains a fair question as to what happens when Putin breaks his word. Perhaps not only his recent history with Putin but Saigon 1975 are fresh in mind. -
What threats would those be?
-
ultimately this is what it’s going to take to resolve. This is the point Zelenskyy raised immediately before the oval blowup - what’s the guarantee of we take the deal, because Putin can’t be trusted. There’s still no answer to the question. that piece, I think, is fixable. Don is a businessman and this stuff happens in negotiations. He’ll make Ukraine grovel, and at some point there could be a deal. The bigger issue is future relations with traditional allies. They now do not trust us because of stuff like this.

So you’re a commie? Inflation happens in free market economies. And it’s trump inflation then and now. This is what happens when you butcher a pandemic (trump) and print free money (trump and Biden) during a period of pent up demand (trump and Biden). also, Trump told you that this was temporary. He said it was a day one fix. Now it’s getting much worse and he’s playing golf. When he’s not trying to impose new taxes and cut interest rates (both bad for inflation ). Great stuff.

Departure. Leave the land you invaded. Then we have peace. It’s very simple, actually. Then don’t embolden him, like we are.
-
The other option would be to achieve peace by Russia leaving Ukraine. Seems pretty simple to me. The invader leaves, and there's peace in the realm. If we're going to play the socialist game, those subsidized farmers should step right up. And the host of red states that contribute less to the federal government than they take from the federal government. We also shouldn't forget all of the trailer park slobs on Medicaid. They're the poster people for socialism.

So much for the National Weather Service

Yeah sure that’s what it was. Hoax. What you really did was make something up without having a clue what you’re talking about. On brand for you. -

You just made up a number. Making it up as you go along. As usual, you don’t have a clue what you’re taking about. Lots of people are saying that, too. -

Blah blah blah. You don't know the number. You made it up and you're talking out of your rear. As usual. -

Again, so how do you know the number? -

Realistically, how on earth would you know how many employees are "at most" required for data collection? You're a math teacher with a tenuous grasp of the English language. Give me a break. Do I think that forecasting is probably going to become a creature of AI sooner than later? Yes, I do. And I think it's probably going other support job cuts at the NOAA. But I know exactly as much about the personnel required to collect data to be fed to forecasters, whether human or AI. Which is absolutely nothing. -

I hate to say it, because I think weather forecasts and warnings are hugely important. But this one struck me as a quintessential AI replacement issue. I don’t like it, but I can’t say that I’m surprised by it. Or that I don’t sort of understand it. -
He's not coming back. Even at vet minimum.

Players the Bills have met with at Combine

Yeah but he hit on Allen. -
I care about people other than myself. That’s a big part of it. Selfish and angry people also are in the mix. Specifically, people who like blaming others for their own shortcomings. There are other groups and constituencies, to be sure, but hillbillies, rubes, selfish, brainwashed, angry, and deflective are common characteristics of many MAGA.

Any specifics? Or just Twitter talking points?
