Ed is not a popular figure among the OP locals. Or at least the neighbors through whose yards he continues to ride his ATV. Ironically I was just thinking about this a few days ago. Of the people who have been paid here, he's probably the only bonehead. EDIT: Diggs also got paid. He might not have been as much of a bonehead before he got the big money. But they quickly recognized the error of that contract and moved on.

As of recently, international stocks were beating the S&P by about 14% this year. Not that you care, because you lap up the Trump cult business. But if you mean that "doing nicely" is dramatically trailing indices that we've routinely beaten over the past decade, then yeah, things are pretty sweet.

Yeah, this new e building requirement in NYS is along those lines. Electric heat sounds great, until your power goes out during a blizzard and you have to have a gas generator around to keep your family from freezing. I'm not against electric heat at all. But forcing it upon people as electric bills skyrocket is not a good plan. Perhaps when the nuke plant comes online and we have better investments in solar and wind energy harvest it will be more feasible and practical.

This isn't defense. This is retribution. At the expense of little kids. If the purpose was to force the return the hostages in exchange for food/water/medicine, then I get it. But that's not what this is about. This is cold, calculated mass retribution.

Me neither, but if there's any doubt about this Spencer Brown injury I can't see them dumping Van Demark (who started the KC regular season game and played reasonably well) for an unknown in Lundt who could "redshirt" on IR this year. Yes, Grable can play both. But if one T is already a little worrisome relative to injury, and Grable has to start, swing tackle depth is an issue.

You guys actually watch that show? Weird. I thought that it was for losers and the elderly. But if one of those shoes fits . . .

That will be the carrot from these people. He'll pardon her in December 2028. Sit tight, keep her mouth shut, and she'll get her get out of jail free card. And Trump will never release the documents. Which, ultimately, works better for the family, because he's going to want to spike the Republican candidate in 2028 to allow one of his outstanding progeny (deep sarcasm intended) to run in 2032 to keep the new family business going.

Completely agree on Dershowitz. Old man, past his prime, self-aggrandizer, and thinks he's still the smartest guy in the room. And running his mouth only because he thinks he's gonna get out of this clean.

That's not it for me. It's the rank hypocrisy on the part of Trump and his acolytes. I understand that there may be good reasons not to release such files, e.g., they're part of an ongoing criminal investigation. But after years of conspiracy theories, lies, vitriol, and a promise to display this stuff, the fact that he's trying to kill it now when his name is obviously splattered all over the matter is a bridge too far. It's time to show the cards.

I can attest to this. I don't park with you, but I know the neighborhood very well. Getting in and out of your place is a breeze with the new parking configuration. Along those lines, and I offer this as a PSA for community members, if you want to beat the foot traffic into the stadium the Abbott Road gates are now where it's at because of the parking changes.
