Jax really is a great city on the rise. It doesn't match up with Daytona/Miami/Orlando but it's growing by leaps and bounds. Chilly here today -approx 60, but should warm back up this weekend.

This DOES suck! That said, it was a chicken sh-- operation that never improved. We get it in Florida but I rarely watch it for the bogus format. Most big cities with pro franchises have their own little netwoks and the majority of them are pretty good- feeding local/state sports info. Empire was way lame in comparison. Where are we going to see Sabre games now, should the NHL ever return? Anybody know?

I understand where you're coming from, but really, do you think he's just BS-ing? I don't. The Bills allowed him to do the leg work for a possible trade. I'm sure he and his agent have been hitting the street non-stop ever since. I also believe that with the press he's generating from his search, if any of the teams he claims have expressed interest, really haven't, we'd have heard a response.

I'm embarking on my forth, getting completely out of commercial management and opening my own business. I'm not trusting anybody to 'take care of me' anymore ie benies, 401k, whimsical corporate direcvtion, etc. How many changes have you made?

I, too, have a couple hundred games from on tape from '86 on. I was at the 51-3 Championship and had one of only 30-some tickets not used as my brother-in-law was too sick to attend. The best part of the game -IMO- was at 41-3 at half time, 80,000 people were already celebrating our first Super Bowl. We all had a half game to just relish the thrill!

32 here in 'Super-Jax' this a.m. It's been in the 80's so this is a drastic change.

Next years 1st for Drew ('02); PP for a 1st ('03); next years 1st for JP('04). TD obviously toying with 1st's and with so much $$ for unproven talent, it is making sense, if unique.
