  1. Figured this would excite Bills fans. http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?slug=ap-b...ov=ap&type=lgns Quarterback J.P. Losman arrived for training camp Friday with a briefcase in hand, ready to show he's serious about taking over the Buffalo Bills' starting job. ``I'm here for business,'' Losman said, shedding the sneakers and jeans and carefree approach he had when reporting to his first camp a year ago. ``Thought I'd look a little more professional.''
  2. I will be able to get it on MSG. Hoping the Rangers will trade up. They got four picks in the top 45. Good luck to the Sabres. I think you can watch the draft via cybercast on nhl.com.
  3. Bingo! That's what I have been saying from the very beginning.
  4. This whole rigged thing has ticked me off big time! I am fed up with idiot Ranger haters who want to talk about 'fixes.' If it was so fixed, they wouldn't have changed from closed doors to a live press conference. And if it were indeed fixed, a successful team like the Devils, Avs, Wings, Flyers, Sens, Leafs or Lightning would wind up with Crosby. Because any team with 1 lottery ball has less than a 2 pct chance. And how exactly would that look if that happened? I'll tell ya what. If it does happen that way, I will not be as passionate about the game ever again.
  5. I don't see how it could be a fix. And I resent all the haters out there who claim this. The fact is the Rangers are one of four teams including Buffalo that have a slightly better chance of getting him. If you can actually call just over 6 pct a chance. Which is why this whole lottery is a bunch of mularkey. Watch the Devils, Wings, Flyers or Leafs get him.
  6. They would? Obviously, you don't know much about Gary Bettman's NHL .
  7. Sabres fans would probably go ballistic.
  8. Out of curiousity, who is the Bills backup RB?
  9. And the funniest part. The Lakers parted with Carol Butler and Chucky Atkins to acquire this bust.
  10. I'll just echo what Clements said regarding Connolly. Question is how will he respond from the concussion after such a long layoff?
  11. Wow. That's abysmal.
  12. If I were the Sabres, given their talent up front and probably guaranteed no worse than a top 10 pick to go with a plethora of netminding, I make a pitch for Scott Niedermayer to bolster the D. The one thing they lack is an anchor. With their team in good shape for the new CBA, they should be well underneath the cap. Niedermayer would make a ton of sense.
  13. That's just a lot of pressure on the kid. She'll have plenty of time to do better.
  14. Columbus would be a good fit. They already have Nash and a rising star in Zherdev. Put Crosby between those two and you have an imposing first line that would propel the Jackets into the postseason. Plus they sellout every game. P.S. Crosby ain't passing up the NHL to play in some Swiss league. That's just in case the deal falls apart.
  15. 14. New York Giants TE Jeremy Shockey | Miami (Fla.) Great athlete who makes a lot of plays, but has dropped a lot of clutch passes. Has limitations as a blocker. Evaluation: Red chip-plus. They nailed Shockey.
  16. As a Ranger fan, they are one of the favorites to land him. But I bet he winds up in Columbus.
  17. Eh. They should have had some balls and given it to Horry. Congrats to the Spurs. Duncan did come up big though.
  18. BF, if the NBA were rigged, Miami would have won Game 7 against Detroit.
  19. There was nothing lucky about it. I guess by the same token the Cards were lucky to take two of three from the Yanks because Sturtze gave up a 7th inning HR to Seabol.
  20. I'd say 7-8 wins. Why? Because I think the Bills are capable of it even with a first yr QB.
  21. Ditto Pete. I also thought they'd force the Game 7. I just don't feel they can win both though. That is a lot to ask. I'd love to see them do it though.
  22. Gotta give this team a lot of credit. They have a lot of heart. Most teams would have folded after that OT collapse the other night. But not the defending champs. It will be the first Game 7 in the NBA Finals since the Rockets beat the Knicks 11 years ago . For a series that was uncompetitive for the first four, it's turned out pretty good. Game 7 for all the marbles should be exciting and it's a battle of the last two NBA champions. Can Detroit do the impossible and win two straight on the road after trailing 3-2? It has never been done since they went to a 2-3-2 format. Great stuff. P.S. Is bf still writing them off ?
