Congratulations America!!

Yah! We must conserve energy, shrink our economy, and car pool, so that China can get oil cheaper to fund their expansion and then their assualt on Taiwan and then Japan... -
Well, thanks to the Social- Engineering types in the Wake County goverment, 50% of the kids are not allowed allowed to go to their neighborhood school. They are bused anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour away. So they can't walk. They think it is a good idea to take kids from the good neighborhoods and force them to go to the sh------- neighborhoods to get the test scores up. Ain't that wonderful?

Sure! And I can put my two kids on the handle bars when I pick them from school! Problem solved! Thanks!

That Clown was voted the worst mayor in the US by Time Magazine. You know his "Momma" blamed the flight of people leaving Det-riot on racism?

Right, and Saddam could have turn of the oil anytime he wanted, and used pild profits it to pay for suicide bombings and such. When Clinton was President, there was some slack in oil production, meaning the was some spare capacity. Since Clinton sold our secrets to China, they're economy is booming, and they need all the oil they can get. No more extra capicity. Going over to the Middle East and asking them to pump more would nothing. Plus, a lot of the price is due the "fear factor" that terrorist could strike Saudi Arabia, or Iran could hault production if U.N. acts against their nuclear policy. The only extra spare capacity for oil right now is Mexico. THey have a ton of it, but their goverment is so messed up and crooked, they can't pull themselves to together and go get it. So in other words, Wrong & Wrong

How do you think LeFors will do in the pros? I follow the Panthers as well as the Bills, and they have said he looks great so far in camp. I only got to see him play in two college games last year, but he look really good in both of them. The Cards can score points on anyone...

What is the most ridiculous political statement
philburger1 replied to Adam's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
How about one of the London Bombers saying he didn't mean to hurt anyone, just scare them with load noise. And the bomb he planned on using was stuff with nails. Everybody knows nails just make a lot of noise and hurt nobody! Everthing think about dogging Islamic terrortists instead of your own country? Nah, didn't think so..... -

Ceric Abu Hamza GLOATED over the shuttle disaster and rejoiced in the deaths of the seven astronauts. He called the Columbia crew “thugs of space” who deserved to die. He denounced the team — made up of Americans, an Israeli and an Indian-born Hindu — as a “trinity of evil” punished by Allah. He claimed it was a sign from God that debris rained down on a Texas town named Palestine. Hamza said of the tragedy: “This was a divine act, a message for mankind.” HMMM. Than what does he call the earthquake that killed 50,000 muslims in Iran, or the Tsunami that killed at least that many muslims in Indonesia. Seems to me "Allah" is more pissed at them. Jackass -
In Raleigh, try "Shrimp and Grits". Sounds strange, but it is yummy. The best bars and places to eat are all around the same couple of blocks, off of Glennwood Ave, downtown. Any of these place are good: 42nd Street, Sullivan's, 511, South End Brewery, and Bogart's....

An advertisement in an Iranian publication has called for people to come forward for "martyrdom operations" against the enemies of Islam. It is published by an institute managed by one of Iran's most conservative and radical clerics, Ayatollah Masbah Yazdi, who has declared his support for Iran's new President, Mahmoud Ahmedinejad. The advertisement calls for men and women to enlist with the "Martyrdom Lovers' Headquarters". It says the idea is to achieve "all-out readiness" against the enemies of Islam - and the Islamic Republic of Iran. PREEMPTIVE STRIKE: INSERT MORALLY AMBIGUOUS COMMENT MENTIONING CHRISTIANS, NECONS, AND GEORGE BUSH REPLY HERE.....

Every on the left brings up Timothy McVeigh as an example of an American Terrorist. But the sketches of John Doe #3 didn't really look like a white boy from the mid-west. And who's profile does it fit to put a big bomb in a car and park it by a building? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm -

I'd have to say blowing up people because they have a different religion than you do is a lot worse than using bad names and posting on a buffalo bills message board or listening to talk radio. Call me crazy I guess..... -

Atta's father praises London bombs

104 Muslim Terrorist Lane Hatecrime, Egypt, 27421 -
Wait a minute, I recall seeing Atta's father interviewed a month after 9/11. He was angry that the report said his son was one of the hijackers. He then said his son was still alive, and would never have done such a thing. Now he comes out and says he is happy his son killed all those people? WTF? And Michael Moore thinks there are in inconstancies in Bush's story about what happened on 9/11.......seems the me the Islamic Jihadees have got it all messed up. 1. First it was the jews. 2. Then is was the US government, to turn its people against muslims, 3. Now it was Islamic terrorists, and they are heroes to them. Yeah, OK: CAIRO, Egypt (CNN) -- The father of one of the hijackers who commandeered the first plane that crashed into the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001, praised the recent terror attacks in London and said many more would follow. Speaking to CNN producer Ayman Mohyeldin Tuesday in his apartment in the upper-middle-class Cairo suburb of Giza, Mohamed el-Amir said he would like to see more attacks like the July 7 bombings of three London subway trains and a bus that killed 52 people, plus the four bombers. Displayed prominently in the apartment were pictures of el-Amir's son, Mohamed Atta, the man who is believed to have piloted American Airlines Flight 11 into the north tower of the World Trade Center as part of the attacks on the United States. El-Amir said the attacks in the United States and the July 7 attacks in London were the beginning of what would be a 50-year religious war, in which there would be many more fighters like his son. He declared that terror cells around the world were a "nuclear bomb that has now been activated and is ticking." The man, who gave his age as "at least 70," said he had no sorrow for what happened in London, and said there was a double standard in the way the world viewed the victims in London and victims in the Islamic world. Cursing in Arabic, el-Amir also denounced Arab leaders and Muslims who condemned the London attacks as being traitors and non-Muslims. He passionately vowed that he would do anything within his power to encourage more attacks. When asked if he would allow a CNN crew to videotape another interview with him, el-Amir said he would give his permission -- for a price of $5,000. That money, he said, would not be kept for himself, but would be donated to someone to carry out another terror attack. El-Amir said that $5,000 was about how much it would cost to finance another attack in London.

Congressman: Mecca a possible retaliation target

1. I don't think any person in their right mind would say the Canadian border is as big of problem as the Mexican Border. For one thing, you have drug gangs like MS-13 practically running the show in the border towns of Mexico. There have been some reports that they might help smuggle Islamic Terrorist into the US if the price is right. 2. As far as the Bush administration goes, I think you got it half-right. They don't let "special interest" groups determine their policies (like C.I.A.R). But a slight majority (53%) actually agrees mostly with what they are doing. 3. My main point is that some senator ( and just about the only one willing to tackle the illegal immigration problem, talk about not bowing to voter blocks) making a case for retaliation against the Islamic Terrorists, and hopefully giving them some type of deterrent, in the event of them blowing up a US city with a nuke, isn't what you should get made about. Everyday, if you look hard enough in the news, you can get almost daily threats and hypocritical statements from the lovely world of Islamo-facists: The following are excerpts from an Al-Jazeera television interview on the London bombings, with Palestinian National Council member Mamoun Al-Tamimi...The interview aired on July 12, 2005 on Al-Jazeera TV. Host: We heard the British Home Secretary say that what happened in London has nothing whatsoever to do with the British policies or Iraq. What do you have to say to him? Al-Tamimi: "Obviously, he wants to defend himself, because this operation will bring down the government. Blair will fall just like Aznar did. When Spain was attacked, Aznar immediately tried to pin it on ETA and the Basques. Then it turned out that Al-Qaeda was behind the attack, and he immediately lost the elections. Blair will follow Aznar. This is certain. Therefore they want to cover up... "First of all, they prevented the media from filming the attacks. The attacks were enormous, a thousand times greater than what was reported. Why did they do this? Because of the fear that overcame the British people and government, and because they know that they are paying a steep price for the mess Blair got them into. They understood that this is because they treat the Arabs and Muslims with disdain and spill their blood. They understood that this is war. In war, you hit and get hit. That's the equation. "Since this war is ongoing, the people you strike have the right to strike back at you, in your home, your country, anywhere. That's the equation." Host: When Spain suffered a terrorist attack, it immediately withdrew its forces from Iraq... Al-Tamimi: "As for Britain's humanism, Winston Churchill once said: 'Defend freedom, for it is the reason for our existence.' After Hitler's fall in Germany, Winston Churchill ordered the army and the air force to continue bombing. The bombings continued three weeks after Hitler's fall, and military historians say that the casualties sustained by Germany after Hitler's fall were greater than the casualties from the war. Germany had 25 million casualties, and in Britain there were 18 million dead. In other words, Britain totally annihilated Germany after Hitler's fall... -

"Have to suck that one up. They got one in" Wow, I am sure that is the Americam people would want to hear after a major city goes up in flames. What does Mexico have to do with anything? Well, since they said they aren't going to help stop terrorists from coming into the US until will give them a bunch of money and create a massive amnesty program for them, plus the fact you can pretty much walk across the Mexican-US border (and get handed a Gatoraide from some Berkley students as come in), it would seem a very likely scenario. Islamic terrorsist have said on their web sites that it is tough to come into the US through normal means. Thank God for that. -

"There are no treaties, only Jihad and the rifle" was a quote from Bin Liden's right hand man. The point of the story wasn't that the US would strike first with a nuclear bomb first, no way. But if it were to happen to us, the gloves would have to come off in a BIG way. And unfortunately, it looks like they are people who have been planning do something like this for the past 10 years. Just curious, if , heaven help, such an event happened, what would your response be? For the sake of the argument, let's say it is a know fact that is was carried out by Islamic extremists who came in thru the Mexican border. The mike is yours..... -

So if nuke explodes in the US, thanks to Jihad Johnies, we should explore the facets of 'international relations'? It's not a country vs another country. It s one philosophy and belief system verses another. If a nuclear bomb went off on US soil you could pretty much kiss bye any notion of western society continuing to function as it does now. I know you might consider yourself to be some type of intellectual powerhouse, but if you believe that global militant islam is something that dealt with treaties and diplomacy, you are not any brighter than the "metal-giants" you mock on this board. Let me guess, you think it is only a handful of muslims in the world that believe that philosophy? And that it is only a result of American Imperialism or Zionist tyranny? Oh boy..... -

Give me a break with your outrage. What he was saying was "what could we threaten the Islamo-facists with that we scare them enough to not commit an act of nuclear terrorism on US soil". With the USSR, the threat was 'mutually assured destruction", since both the Russians and the Americans were horrified by the thought of all their people getting killed. But the Jihad Johnies have no fear of death, and have no problem of using their own women and children as shields. So you have to threaten them with something they value. Which isn't human life. So if saying, "we will nuke Mecca if you explode a nuclear bomb on US soil", prevents it from happening, then so be it. If want to get upset about some political leaders comments, try these on for size: "Oh, Allah, destroy America and its supporters and collaborators. Oh Allah, destroy Britain and its supporters and collaborators." – Ikrime Sabri, mufti of Jerusalem, highest-ranking Islamic figure in the Palestinian Authority, PA Radio, just 18 days before the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks" "We [Muslims] have ruled the world and a day will come, by Allah, and we shall rule the world [again]. The day will come and we shall rule America. The day will come and we shall rule Britain." – Ibrahim Mudayris, PA TV, May 13, 2005 -
WASHINGTON, July 13 -- On Tuesday, five days after the bombings on the London transit system refocused Congress and the American public on the threat of global terrorism, former Mexican Foreign Minister Jorge Castaneda told a Senate Foreign Relations Committee hearing that "No border security is possible without Mexican cooperation" and that "there can be no cooperation [from the Mexican government] without some sort of immigration reform package." Castaneda, now a professor at New York University, went on to describe immigration reform as amnesty for all Mexicans living illegally in the U.S., the admission of some 5 million additional Mexican citizens to the U.S. over the next ten years, and massive increases in U.S. aid to that country. In exchange for the admission and legalization of millions of Mexicans, and billions of dollars in U.S. assistance, Castaneda said that Mexico would offer "tough" but "non-coercive" assistance in the effort to prevent terrorists from entering the U.S. via Mexico. Castaneda conceded that Mexico has lost control of its own southern border, and cannot verify the true identities of people to whom it has issued ID documents. "Jorge Castaneda is not some obscure voice from Mexico's distant political past," observed Dan Stein, president of FAIR. "He served as foreign minister in the current Mexican administration. It is imperative that the Fox government issue a formal repudiation of Castaneda's remarks and assure the American public that their cooperation in the war against terrorism will not come at the price of extortion." As disturbing as Castaneda's remarks were, the reaction of the senators to the extortion demands of a former top Mexican government official was even more disconcerting. Leading members of the Senate seemingly accepted Castaneda's demands for open borders as a legitimate price for even tepid Mexican cooperation in dealing with the terrorist threat.
