Out of the 3 crappy QB options on that team, I think Newton is still the best. Stidham and Hoyer are stiffs and aren't any better at avoiding turnovers than Newton.
I mean, maybe he's a bad pick, but I think people overvalue 3rd round and later picks... substantially. It's more the intensity of the reaction that leaves me puzzled.
I'd be inclined to think that that's a sign that Allen isn't improving in his second year, and if that's the case Brown's attitude about it is really the least of my worries.
