give me a break lol
after Allen’s improvement we have no right to bash other rookie QB’s
Tua has his whole career ahead of him
So what impresses you about Tua?

It's certainly not that Tua is a rookie with no preseason.
If a rookie's making mistakes out there with the occasional big play, that's one thing. But Tua's just a complete dud. When you're throwing for 4.something per attempt that's not just down to being a rookie. That's a performance that makes me think that a guy just doesn't have it.

I am as optimistic about tua being a bust as anyone but saying the dolphins should draft a QB next year is just silly. Come on.
They have the most pathetic group of skill position players in the league and it's not even close.
There are some really good WRs and RBs in the draft next year. Dolphins can take one of each in the first round and then see what Tua can do with some actual NFL talent around him.
The Dolphins would have to be insane to not take a QB if there's a guy they think would be worth the Texans' pick. Look at Tua vs. Fitz tonight, it's certainly not because Fitz is playing with better receivers.

Why on earth did Miami ever think Tua was the way to go? Fitzpatrick has already almost matched his yardage...

These are some of the worst tackling attempts I've ever seen.

Watson is definitely great but he has been around for a while and doesn't qualify as a "young" franchise QB anymore. After Rivers he might be the longest tenured starting QB in thr AFC. I guess Newton too but he won't be there next year and probably is a backup now.
Watson was drafted the year before Allen. I can't agree that 4 years is the cutoff for young.

While I hate the all red uniform I’m still very grateful the Bills abandoned that monstrosity from the 2000s. I cringe every time I see highlights from that era. Anything they throw out there is okay by me.Good news is you don't have to worry about seeing too many highlights from that era

Seems like there ought to be a way for both the Chargers and Falcons to lose.

WTF was that little jump that Dalton just did while he was scrambling around?

In 2008, I decided to take my wife (then girlfriend) to Buffalo to meet my extended family. Conveniently, I made it the weekend the Bills were playing the Browns on Monday night football. It was November 17th. We got there around 5pm or so to start the pre-game festivities. The temp was around 32 or so degrees, and by kick-off it was down to maybe 28 or 29. I swear I haven't been that cold since. I had hand warmers inside my gloves, down in my underwear, and in my shoes. My poor wife is from New Orleans, and I remember looking over at her, and she looked so miserable...at halftime she said "I'm going to sit in the car." I couldn't be mad at her. Ever since that game I've never gone to a Bills game past October lol.
It was Bills vs. Browns. How fair is it to blame it on the weather?

Haha, yeah.
"I can't believe the Bills abandoned their completely ineffective run game against our really good run defense and threw it against our league-worst passing defense!"What an idiot.
I'm trying to think of a stupider comment from a coach. When I read this one I thought it was made up at first.

I have never seen a team find more ways to lose than the Chargers.

No way they're overturning this.
...and how right I was! I think I could be a professional commentator.

Id start cam for his running ability.
Out of the 3 crappy QB options on that team, I think Newton is still the best. Stidham and Hoyer are stiffs and aren't any better at avoiding turnovers than Newton.

Games between bad teams are so much more exciting when there's scoring.

Do we have any update at all about the Titans game? I know another test means that they still can't open their facilities. We are getting rather close to "poop or get off the pot" time here to even know if we can play at their stadium.
The idea of making them play at a neutral site and a neutered roster is growing on me.
The league should punish them for breaking protocol, but that seems pretty harsh!

Yeah felt like that didn't even need to be mentioned. I actually can't remember a football team looking so bad, who are they going to beat this year to avoid going 0-16?
Maybe with the way games are getting shifted around the league will make a mistake and they'll end up playing against themselves.

Gotta go for this. Give the ball back to Mahomes at the 5 vs. the 45, I don't think it matters.

and now with the first quarter of the season over and getting their first win the Eagles are tied for 1st in the division.
Aren't they actually alone in 1st, at 1-2-1?
Pederson isn't looking so dumb playing for the tie anymore...
