  1. You can't mean this as a serious question.
  2. I'd trade Kolb for Moore in a heartbeat. Mallett scares me in spite of his physical tools, and Smith... we'll see, but it doesn't seem to me like he has the temperament to make it in the league. I'm not sure if that's support for your point or not.
  3. Phillips beat up his girlfriend in college and was suspended from the team for a while. Don't know about Pacman.
  4. Lawrence Phillips was the #6 overall pick when he came out. That's the first name that sprang to mind, though there may be other cases that involve a higher pick but didn't make headlines for some reason.
  5. You're a big doody-head! Feeling better?
  6. I dunno, I'd hope they'd be nicer when they're not playing football.
  7. You're really looking for things to worry about. 4 years is a long way off.
  8. Looks like the rating is based on degree of difficulty. Overall I'd say it's a pretty favorable assessment of the Bills, actually, and it seems like that low number is based more on it being the rookie year for some very key players as well as the coaching staff.
  9. Hey, thanks! As far as top two receivers against the Pats, if I had to guess I'd say Johnson and Woods. It's a fair point about his injury, but given the injuries he's played through in the past I will go with him until proven otherwise. Out of Woods, Goodwin, and Rodgers, I will be ecstatic if two of them pan out, and it would be shocking to me if more than one made a big impact as a rookie. It's quite rare (still) to see rookie receivers "get it" right out of the gate. But if Johnson turns out to be the third best receiver on the team I think it will bode well for the offense.
  10. Winters in Buffalo, summers in Tampa?
  11. You're all over the place here. Is he going to be unstoppable or out of the league?
  12. The real question is, is he gonna be a #1 or a #2.
  13. EJ got sacked too much - so the answer is Kevin Kolb? I'm not 100% sold on your reasoning there.
  14. Well, what can you do? Everyone involved would like to see him healthy. But if he's still the best receiver on the team, even dinged up, it really is just a case of taking the bad with the good. It may get interesting if some of the young receivers the Bills have picked up actually pan out and he continues to suffer injuries.
  15. It's pretty neat the way you just sneak in your spin on events to make it look like you didn't just pull that out of your ass.
  16. That would be pretty shocking, if for no other reason than it would be a big black eye for the organization.
  17. I don't think Graham is an absolute lock, if he struggles and 2 or more of the guys on your bottom list really step up. I think it's highly likely he makes the cut, though. At this point I would be shocked if Easley made it.
  18. I see a great catch by a great Bills receiver on a bad throw by someone or other who's with some different team now.
  19. I've said it before and I'll probably say it again, I think the Arizona game is a distraction. I think if you want to point to a single game that ended any chance Edwards was going to develop into anything, look at the Cleveland Monday night game a few weeks later, and the gutless coaching display Jauron put on. Edwards had a terrible game but brought the Bills back. Late in the game he hit a 20-yard pass to get the Bills inside the 35-yard line... and Jauron worked his magic. Run, run, run, attempt a 50-yard field goal that missed. Cleveland went on to kick the game winner. Jauron robbed Edwards of an opportunity to redeem himself for a bad early game performance, and that was it for Edwards's career. I never liked Edwards, from the start, really, but I still consider Jauron's coaching in that Cleveland game one of the most shameful things I've ever seen.
  20. Not sure who you're talking about, or to, here.
  21. I don't think Pettine would've been interested if Chan were still around. I think working with a young up-and-comer like Marrone was a big factor in bringing him on.
  22. I think I'll laugh now, thanks.
  23. I disagree completely, but even by your standard, we're fine, because the Bills clobbered them last time they played.
  24. Did we? They had a trainwreck of a season. Whether or not the Bills are better than them, I will still laugh at their screwups. I don't get where this idea came from, that you can't mock other teams unless the Bills are doing well.
  25. I can readily believe that the offensive players liked Gailey's system. I think Gailey showed that he is a very good play designer. Ultimately his downfall was the playcalling, but I think the plays he developed gave a lot of players the opportunity to shine - he just didn't have a good sense of the best situations to use those plays.
