  1. telling the world the wife just turned 40 is a great prank...first it gets her...then it bites you in the rearend until the end of time...its the gift that keeps on giving. Couple ideas that I've pulled off. One, put a sign in front of the house in the early morning that says, "Honk to wish (insert name) a Happy 40th birthday." Also, you could always send flowers with a whole bunch of black balloons to her place of work.
  2. LOL, meaning did you expect an honest well thought out reply when you left the door wide open for senseless sarcasm?
  3. Would you expect anything less on this board?
  4. No, but its not fair to call him tainted because he played in europe...lets see what he can do in camp and preseason.
  5. Yeah, just like Delhomme and Vinatieri
  6. I'm pretty sure I saw the dolphins work a deal with Welker then trade him... let me dig
  7. They dont want a 1st and 3rd. its required due to the fact that Turner is a RFA this year. The only possible scenario that you're deal would work is that San Diego signs him to a contract extension and then makes the deal.
  8. I know this reply didnt take you very long...but how about an extra 3 seconds to make it readable?
  9. I highly doubt they are going to bring in either as a number 1. Brown can't stay healthy and Rhodes can shoulder the load for long. If we trade McGahee, we will pick up a new 1 RB either via trade or the draft. It is a possibility that a big name gets cut for cap room in June. BTW, Jamal Lewis is old and rusted, not someone we want to add to our list here in Buffalo. Plus with all the drug trafficing up and down RT 5 and 20...we dont want him to pick up on any of that
  10. Even as a back up, he's better than what we have, and he brings to table something we lacked last season, the ability to stuff the run. Nap harris hasnt had a solid season since his second year in the league. His 59 tackles in 14 games is proof of that. The only thing he has going for him is a little bit of speed at the position.
  11. Does this mean that Mitchell will not be back in a Chiefs uniform next season? I'm thinking probably not. Which is good if Buffalo wants to make a run at him. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?statsId=6383 Personally, I would like to see him in Buffalo even if Crowell moves back inside to mike. This would give us another young, but experienced inside backer and still leave us room for a draft pick at MLB. Yes yes, I'm sure someone is going to mention DiGeorgio as the 3rd MLB, but if we draft a rookie, chances are he won't make the squad. Personally I did not see enough in him to keep him on the active roster next year. Thoughts, concerns, hate mail...
  12. Crowell was drafted as a MLB and played there in college if my memory serves me correctly. I have no problems moving him back inside and picking up someone else on theoutside, as long as he can play mike in the cover 2
  13. Agreed...closest you'll get is Labatts or Molson Then again, I'd prefer not to have bottles of beer heaved at me across the room
  14. LOL you didnt really read my initial response did you. I at no time stated that the bills were or were not a playoff team. All I asked was, "Aren't you dead yet?" And for the record I still can't tell if you're actually breathing or just spewing post-mordem gases
  15. Upon further analysis no other websites report Lewis as even being a FA. However, ESPN's 2007 Free Agent List show Lewis and him being signed by Buffalo as an RFA. Quite the conundrum we have here. Buffalobills.com has no report of any signings or trades today
  16. thanks for the drop in Bernie.
  17. I'm still amazed by that turning into such a big incident. Then again after having half the resort here in chautauqua mistake fertilizer in a garden for anthrax...I'm willing to believe anything.
  18. That was an incredibly cheap shot, even if it wasn't as late as it was, it was a cheap shot. A suspension and fine is definately in order after that, but I doubt we see it. I love physical hockey, but I draw the line when the intent is to injure another player, especially when he is no longer part of the play.
  19. The question wasn't about the run defense, but your ability to still draw breath. Yes the run defense is horrid still. But I'm not counting out McCargo until after this season, or another injury. We can still address the D in the draft and as far as I know Kawika Mitchell is still available at MLB and should be our main focus right now. Plus you never know who's gonna be looking for work after the June cuts. lets not count out this team in early March.
