  1. I for one do not even want him in Morgantown after the crap he pulled in 2002 with us. Plus fact he is a drunk and had less than 30% graduation rate of his players at Cincinnati. This is a major mistake by WVU...its too bad Beilien has no loyalty, he was a great coach and made our hoops program respectable again.
  2. http://www.nfldraftblitz.com/pick_value_chart.htm is a link to the point value chart I wouldnt mind it...but I would prefer to stay put in round 1 and move some of our other picks. If we could get 2 impact players early, i.e. Turner and whoever at 12 I think we'd be sitting pretty going into the season.
  3. I don't know I havent heard it...but then again I listen to Country.
  4. Letting out my inner geek here, but Everquest by far should be on that list over WoW
  5. Im at lvl 7 now...6 is a pain in the a$$ made it to 11...now i'm done
  6. I definately wouldn't throw her out of bed for eating cookies.
  7. Nah, but I did live in West Virginia during college
  8. havent seen Battle play, but I know he was in a passing first offense and then mainly used in short yardage situations. so for him to have nearly 1000 yards in that kind of offense speaks loads about his ability to get the job done when he gets the ball. I wouldnt mind taking a 3rd round or later chance on him.
  9. apparently you missed the 3 posts ahead of this one...
  10. Here are some numbers for Nicholas USF Pro Day Stephen Nicholas LB (6-1 1/8, 226 pounds) ran his 40s in 4.64 with the wind and 4.69 against it. He stood on all his other numbers from the Combine. NFL Combine: Did not run the 40, 29 Benchpress, 33.5 vertical, 9'2" broad, 4.45 20 yard shuttle, 7.29 3 cone drill Numbers look a lot like Keith Ellison's last year.
  11. I'm not sure, but I think someone said Lenny P is on sick leave
  12. I've seen or heard nothing anywhere this morning that even shows an inkling of this rumor. I hate this time of year, I swear some people dream these rumors then post em on here some days. Like I've said before, Marv is going to wait until draft day and probably right up until pick time to make this deal. It is in Buffalo's best interest to wait because Turners value will fall closer to the draft. And if by some outside chance that we do miss out on him, we still have the option of drafting a RB day 1 and/or signing Chris Brown after the draft. We have the upperhand in this trade, don't let AJ Smith and his croonies fool you. Patience young grasshoppers
  13. My problem with this trade is it doesnt fit the value chart for swapping drafts picks in our favor. JJ and his issues or the lack thereof aside, the Bills 1st pick is worth 1200 points according to most value charts and the Cowboys pick is worth 780 and their 4th rounder is worth only 50 for a total of 830. 370 points difference in value is a lot after the first round even with JJ in the mix. 370 points is the 48th selection overall and I dont see JJ as worth that much any more. There would need to be some conditional picks in the 2008 draft to make this trade worth it.
  14. Worse or even better if it was wet vagina
  15. I agree with you up until the salary... AP is going to demand a much higer salary as a top 12 pick than Turner would. What I like about Turner is he's already had time to adjust to the league and is showing he is capable as a NFL RB. AP has yet to play a down and is an injury concern, but he is one of the better RB prospects of the past 5 years so its going to make things interesting. Either way I'm going to be happy with whoever we pick up, but we're not going to get either until draft day.
  16. NHL playoffs right now leads the way. Of all the drafts the past few years...this one I'm not overly excited about. I think this draft class outside of a few outstanding players is really weak... the next 2 after this will be very good to watch.
  17. This board sees more trainwrecks in a day than Amtrak sees in a year...quite the accomplishment. Today's trainwreck of the day award goes to :::drumroll::: Bills #1 for his insightful view on the 2007....apparently the first derailment of his train wasn't a big enough wreck.
  18. LMAO thats great....anyone care to guess that the person in charge of making the NIT shirts didnt speak much englsh??? OH well, least we won and that's all I'm concerned with.
  19. I've used that one as well....makes for a great afternoon at the watercooler Also, getting to work early to completely cover a friends cubicle or office in aluminum foil or post-it notes is equally entertaining. As well as superglueing staplers to desks.
  20. If you've been lurking this board for 10 years and that was your first post...you must not read many of the posts. Anyone who's been around the board that long knows you're going to get fried for a half thought out opening post...especially in the offseason.
  21. As for setting up the league, if you are running it on Yahoo I suggest just using their basic rules and scoring until you get more familiar with the game then tweak them to your liking. There are two different types of leagues. Head to Head and Rotissere. Head to Head means you'll play a different opponet every 4-7 days and you're record is recorded in wins and losses. Rotissere is where you try to rack up the most amount of points throughout the season and the team with the most points at the end wins. I prefer head to head leagues, especially if you have more than 6 teams. If you're only playing with a few other people, you might want to try rotissere.
  22. Well you beat Tipster to it....he must be overly sedated from those pills Dr. Z gave him
