  9. Only if you think Bell is actually going to do something. Sorry his kind of numbers did not even warrant him being a draft pick. especially over a guy like Robert Felton.
  10. It's been a while since I've posted on the board, but I thought I would share some research on the Bills' UDFA signings from this week. Enjoy Here’s a little closer look at the Bills UDFA’s for 2008 Mike Viti, FB Army 5’9” 242lbs. Viti is a workhorse type of FB who is an excellent interior and lead blocker. He’s not going to blow anyone way with a 4.8 40 and he probably won’t be relied on as a receiver as he only caught 9 passes in 12 games last season, but he’s strong (34 reps of 225lbs at Army’s Pro Day and set their record with a 470lbs Bench Press) and should be able to lay a good pop on NFL level LBs and some DEs. The Bills scouts seem to be really high on him as they were considering him with one of their 7th round picks and ending up making him their first UDFA signed. Luke Drone, QB Illinois State 6’1” 215lbs. Drone is touted as a cerebral signal caller mixed with solid athleticism. Didn’t put up great numbers in 2007 with 18TDs and 17 INTs, but he was in a new offense and lost his best WR, Laurent Robinson, to the NFL. His Pro Day numbers aren’t overly impressive with a 4.9 40 and 14 reps on the bench. Could be a diamond in the rough if his on field skills transfer over to the NFL, but at this point looks to be nothing more than camp fodder. Would be a good choice for NFL-E if it was still around. Reminds me of Casey Bramlet from Wyoming. Joe Brockington, LB Notre Dame 6’ 228lbs. I don’t have a lot of numbers on Joe other than a dismal 4.9 40 at the Notre Dame Pro Day. Brockington had over 100 tackles last year for the Irish and blocked 3 kicks on STs. Sounds like a solid competitor for one of the reserve LB spots as a ST specialist. Teraz McCray, DT Miami 6’1” 300lbs High motor Defensive Lineman for the Hurricanes who played both DT and DE. His main position is the 3 technique DT. Teraz was second in the team in tackles for loss and tied Calais Campbell for the team lead in sacks with 6. McCray was a solid DL in college and could be a sleeper UDFA pick up provided his skills improve where most scouts saw his potential maxed out. Robert Felton, OG Arkansas 6’4” 315lbs Felton was the co-captain of the Razorback offense and helped pave the way for Darren McFadden and Felix Jones to run wild on opposing defenses. Robert was projected to be a 5th round pick and was in the top 15 Guard prospects coming into the draft. However, he lacks ideal NFL mobility for an OG running a 5.5 40. He is a very technical blocker who needs to improve his strength to make the transition to the NFL. On the upside, he has played all the OL positions and can provide depth across the line. Jason Jones, WR/KR Arkansas Pine Bluff 6’1” 180lbs Jones is a blazing WR/KR with 4.4 speed. Lead Pine Bluff with 47 receptions for 793 yards and 3 TDs. According to Shawn Heinlein of the Buffalo Bills Scouting Department, “He showed the ability to adjust to the ball, has incredibly soft hands and the ability to get in and out of breaks pretty well. He's got a lot of upside to him, he just needs some physical development because he's coming from a smaller program." Jon Banks, LB Iowa State 6’3” 220lbs Teammate of Bills 5th round pick Alvin Bowen, Banks is a converted SS in the mold of Keith Ellison. Good speed with a 4.6 40, he is a solid defender in space, but needs to improve his strength to take on blocks at the NFL level. Jon could be a solid addition to the Bills kick coverage teams. Bruce Hall, RB Mississippi, 6’ 210lbs Hall is a converted JUCO QB who’s been at Wake Forest, Troy, and finally finished his career at Ole Miss. Bruce rushed for only 182 yards and 1 TD in 07 in a backup role. He looks to be camp fodder and nothing more. Marcus Buggs, LB Vanderbilt 5’11” 235lbs Buggs reminds me a lot of last year’s UDFA Thaddeus Washington. A small compact, but quick and strong LB, Marcus is a solid tackler who always seems to be around the ball in game film.
  11. He didn't even play at the Senior Bowl because of a knee injury.
  12. With our next pick I'd like Buffalo to grab one of these 3 players Owen Schmitt FB WVU Steven Justice C Wake Forest Red Bryant Texas AM What do you guys think? Who do you want to see next?
  13. really trying to get that post count back up into the 4,000s again aren't you?
  14. absolutely horrible news. This guy was my sleeper pick on the Offensive line. Very raw, but with tremendous upside. RIP Heath
  15. There is wi-fi and you should be able to pick up a good enough signal in the amp to broadcast if you really wanted.
  16. If anyone is serious about going, send me a PM, I have at least one free pass and I can probably get a few more from work.
  17. Bannister was a RFA visit under Donahoe a few years back. He's a decent ST but not much of a receiver, his speed is somewhat suspect along with his route running. He was with Baltimore this year and recorded 2 ST stops. Josh Scobey is RB/RS along with ST gunner. He did not return many kicks for the Seahawks last year but did record 12 ST tackles Scouts Inc Analysis for both players: Alex Bannister Grade 40 No further analysis Josh Scobey RB Grade: 60 | Key Alert: M Comment: Scobey has very good straight-line speed and quality special teams value. He has a lot of experience returning kickoffs, and he can excel in that role. He hits his top speed in a hurry. He has the speed to get outside and is an open-field threat on offense. He has good burst and a second gear. But Scobey lacks ideal run instincts and elusiveness. He doesn't have good patience or vision. He runs tentatively and won't find holes and hit them quickly out of the backfield. He doesn't wait for holes to develop. He has only adequate hands, limiting his value on third downs. He doesn't adjust well to poor throws. He doesn't even have a great feel for returns. He is a straight-line runner who doesn't set up his blocks or see seams forming. He needs very good blocking up front to be effective. He lacks the quickness and change-of-direction skills for punt returns. He needs to significantly improve his ball security.
  18. Have him send me a message...looking for a job
