  1. I've not been to EE to say for sure...but after my trip to curacao a couple years ago and hooking up with a couple of colombia chicas...I'd still have to give the advantage to South America
  2. You can sue anyone for anything, just like you can link Kevin Bacon to any movie or actor within 7 degrees...
  3. Bulger never played for GB...you meant to say Brunell
  4. South American women are God's gift to men.
  5. I would not be surprised if Jacksonville did move. They really lack fan support and their ticket sales are horrible, especially season ticket sales which have been way down forcing the stadium to close a few sections to avoid TV blackouts.
  6. Resident Evil meets the Blair Witch???
  7. Been looking for positions at all levels...they're hard to get unless you know someone who knows someone who blew someone. My whole thinking is, perhaps if I get into a similar position outside sports it might help me to make more contacts and find a way in. Or I might find something I like more.
  8. The problem for me is that I do a little bit of everything since I had a hard time finding a job with a BS in sport management. Not many openings in pro sports that I've seen and I can't afford to take an unpaid internship for a year in hopes of getting one. I have law enforcement experience and driving experience, but I'm not really interested in driving anymore and while I do enjoy law enforcement to a certain extent I don't think I'll pursue it as a career forever. I'm really interested in getting into sports on some level, especially when it comes to personnel and management. It's really hard to get in on the ground level so I've been looking for other types of business management to get into and then perhaps make a leap over later on. I'm starting my MBA in August and hoping that will help me down the road
  9. Hey guys, looking for an alternative to the big 3 job search sites of Careerbuilder, yahoo hotjobs, and Monster. All seem to be littered with spam instead of real gigs. Are there any other sites you guys use other than these 3 or have used with success?
  10. http://www.shotgun-willies.com/GoinsOn/poster1.htm LOL if more moms went to Willie's they would have known
  11. You want a good show to watch like this, watch Ninja Warrior on G4TV. Real athletes, big wipeouts, not just dolts getting tossed around.
  12. She went to Buff State. I'll have her look into those careerfairs and see if any are coming up. Thanks for all the help and suggestions everyone
  13. If this is a serious question, since I just bought one, I'll help you out. Don't go overboard for your budget, and a good idea to save a little cash is to buy the ring with it's matching wedding band. I spend about 3.5k on my fiance's ring set at Zales and it was marked down like 45%. She loves it, i'm not broke so all is well. Make sure you get all the insurance you can on those things though...
  14. Thanks for all the suggestions guys, I really appreciate it. As for regions, since we are getting married in April here in town, we'd like to keep it withing like a 12 hour drive. I'm partial to smaller towns compared to metropolis' but at this point money and work is the key factor. Right now the area I like the most with the most opportunity for both of us is Raleigh, NC. Corps, you're exactly right, its not what you know, its who you know around here and my major connection for her just retired so that didn't help us. Oh I forgot to add earlier, she's already has a one year of UPK teaching under her belt in the local school system...however her positions wasn't paid by the system, but by the church it was held in which received and hoarded all the funds from the state for itself paying their staff substantially less money than the rest of the district was making.
  15. Long story short, My fiance and I have finally decided that our small town of Jamestown, NY just has nothing to offer us in terms of starting careers so we're looking to make a move, but are having a hard time finding a place where we can both find work. She is a NYS certified elementary teacher for PreK-2nd Grades I'm Sport Management grad (Bachelor of Science) with about 2 years of Law Enforcement experience. Basically what I'm looking for is an in for her, so if anyone here knows of any schools hiring elementary teachers or a better jobsearch site for teachers since the big 3 (Careerbuilder, Hotjobs, and Monster) are lacking when it comes to those types of job. I know we have a few teachers on this board so any help, even with just a few pointers to resumes and interviews would be extremely helpful. Myself, I'm a bit more lucky since most places are hiring police, but I'd love to finally make the jump back into sports. If only the Bills or Sabres were hiring...
  16. There's only 2 reasons that I don't hunt...One I like to be in bed at 4am. Two, I'm worried one of the wackos from out of state are going to shoot me since they shoot at anything and everything that moves.
  17. Can anyone tell me which one of these rifles is safer? http://www.thegunsource.com/store/item/655...Semi-autom.aspx http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AK_47 (semi-automatic version of course) Just want to know which one is least likely to kill a human. Dan any suggestions?
  18. Between the Strangers and The Happening, I've wasted about 50 bucks between tickets for myself and fiance and snacks and what not. What is so hard about writing a horror story with a bit of a plot instead of just hacking people up? I don't think I've liked hardly any of M.Nights movies...Signs wasn't all that great, The Village was pretty good until the ending. Sixth Sense was the only one I've enjoyed.
  19. Safety or no...you can't kill something the muzzle isn't facing. And yes always hand over an empty gun with an open action. Remember guns don't kill people, stupid does.
  20. Rule #1 with firearms never let the muzzle point at anything you don't want to kill. Why the heck would you carry a weapon in a position like that is beyond me. but then again it is Texas we are talking about...
  21. You know, it could always be a case of mistaken identity....I wonder if this guy has now moved to Buffalo? http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2860426
  22. Its in Mexico so that's different Quote for the pic "Bush Administration begins new Illegal Immigration Enforcement Act"
