  1. I drive an 03 Jeep Wrangler...wonder if that gives me credentials to at least talk about the next Quality control coach Seriously though, when was the last time we had a post that actually talked football?
  2. Might help if we didn't throw 7 yard out routes 90% of the time
  3. Whole heartedly agree. I said Jackson was going to be a great addition to this team when we first got him. Another fine product of the now defunct NFL Europe.
  4. Ugh, we need to get people to quit calling him Fast Freddie...that was Jonathan Smith...
  5. If the game hasn't passed him by, I'd be ok with Reeves...Madden or Ditka show signs every week on national TV that they are clueless
  6. Ok, so if he's not likely to come out of retirement for a team he started with, what makes you confident that Ralph calling him will give the Bills a chance at getting him?
  7. At least the healthcare industry will continue to grow
  8. Also took the most sacks in the conference at 28. And if you look at his stats vs. the rest of the NCAA, they aren't all that impressive. Its not that I don't think he's a good QB, I just don't think he's a draft day pick.
  9. Don't forget that Flacco was a scholarship QB at Pitt, but couldn't beat out Tyler Palko for the job. Willy is a decent QB and will make someone a very goo UDFA pickup, but I really can't see anyone going after him with a draft pick. His production in a non-major conference is a bit lacking. I know he just wins, but didn't we have another QB in Buffalo that just won? You know, except when he didn't
  10. I'll third the notion. Priceline is the way to go. I've gotten some absolutely amazing deals on priceline and I swear by it when booking hotel rooms.
  11. Who's to say he can't? Everyone has to be a beginner at some point and build a reputation. Lets see how this offseason FA and draft goes before we decide to pitch Brandon for the next sacrificial lamb...I mean GM
  12. Any chance we can give Russ s full offseason before we run him out of town too? Better yet, to make the list shorter, lets think of who we don't want to run out of town
  13. People would still be ready to run them out of town. I cannot recall in my 27 years as a Bills fan when the fans were ever unanimously behind a coach or player. I remember during the Super Bowls years plenty of people giving flak about Marv being a poor head coach or that Frank Reich should be starting over Jim Kelly. It seems every year we're trying to run someone out of town, but any talk of the team leaving the area is hate speech
  14. No, but he did start a downward spiral in Buffalo, and San Diego. San Diego did rebound a bit while the Bills have continued to falter on the field and in the booth.
  15. Bill I think you are a bit misguided here, http://www.suffolkcountyny.gov/police/new/recruitment.htm http://www.police.nassaucountyny.gov/recruitment.htm These are the advertised rates on long island for police officers, on both pages they state salaries do not include overtime and other fringe benefits. Both average in the 90k range after 5 years not bad for a job you don't need much more education than 60 hours of undergrad which is cheap. Now lets look at the teachers who have to have at least a bachelors to start and a masters degree by their 5th year on the job: Their average salaries according to the school district are between 66-75k per year with an average tenure of 10-12 years in Nassau and Suffolk counties http://www.longislandschools.com/ I don't know, maybe I'm reading the numbers wrong but it doesn't look like the police are getting a lot less money... Oh before you guys call me a cop hater too, please remember I still do work as a police officer on the side here in WNY
  16. All you got left? We hate the unions because we are stupid.?
  17. Ok, now my numbers are wrong...right after I got them from YOU. Did you not say on page 1 that the 75/hr wage included the value of the benefits? Or am I just making that up too? Second of all, I work for a company here in Jamestown that is Machinists union and UAW, we make cooling parts for many US and Foreign automakers. We have plenty of union guys here and yes, most of our production personnel have high school educations or less. I'm not assuming, I'm stating facts. Keep living in your dream world, because its about to become a nightmare if you don't wake up and make the changes necessary
  18. wow about 30 seconds after my post. Pretty quick there pB My question is, why someone who is turning nuts and bolts and doing a few welds here and there is making 75 an hour while another union guy doing the same thing for a non UAW union is making 28 an hour? Is that fair? I'm sorry, you can twist it anyway you want, but there is no reason in the world someone with a high school education or less should be making 75 an hour, even with benefits included. Hell my fiance is currently making $10 an hour with minimal benefits as a CERTIFIED NYS teacher with a bachelors degree and trying to finance her Masters. You still want to try to justify that a bolt turner should be making 7 times more than that? The auto companies and unions are both to blame for piss poor management and allowing this situation to come about. GM produces the same care 5 times with slightly different bodies and multiple levels of options and calls it variety. Why do we need 5 versions of the same car with 3 different names? Maybe bankruptcy is the best option here...clear the market, let some investors come in, pick up the pieces and rebuild from the ground up.
  19. too much credit is given to John Butler as a GM. Don't forget he's the one that left the Bills in a cap crisis before he bolted to San Diego. The Bills have never been able to turn it around since.
  20. How long until pBills comes and tells us the UAW workers aren't making $75 and the Republicans are making that up?
