Daniels would have been nice, but he's not worth that much. -

http://www.stadiumsofnfl.com/capacity.htm 50000 is 13000 below the smallest current NFL stadium Also, the sight lines of the skydome were created for baseball primarily and anyone who's watched a football game in a stadium not designed for it will tell you that you can get some real awkward views in a stadium like that. the KingDome in seattle was famous for this. That is why a new stadium is necessary. As for buyers, no one has really expressed interest one way or the other have they? Golisano is the only one who said anything thus far about making the purchase and truthfully I would prefer him not buy it because I think he would be just as bad as Wilson as the owner. So right now from the looks of it, it will be a time consuming process even after Wilson dies, which could very well be this evening, before any type of move is made. But the numbers speak for themselves, to move the team from Buffalo is going to cost a substantial amount of money and still require League/Owners group approval before anything happens. On top of that, there are other teams in just as bad of shape financially. Personally, I see Jacksonville and the Bay area teams as the top contenders for a move along with the Bills. And don't leave out Minnesota, they are the lowest valued team in the league and could really use a new stadium as well. So like I said, find some real info to support your thesis rather than the old run of the mill crap that gets cycled all over the net and you might get some people to really listen. -

Only giving what I'm getting from you...a whole lotta nothing Actually, I'll tell you what I'll give you some info and you can google the rest. The Bills are worth 885 Million as for 2008 according to Forbes. http://www.forbes.com/lists/2008/30/sports...lls_301765.html Now, if the Bills moved to Toronto, they can't play in the Skydome because that was just ugly its not a football stadium. You could argue they could play with the Argonauts, but that isn't likely either. So you need a new stadium.. rough cost of a NFL caliber stadium is about 700 million. So we're at about 1.6 Billion dollars already Then the NFL has fees for relocation and what not which last I checked were about 900 million to relocate a franchise. That brings our total cost of moving to 2.5 billion dollars. Now, google and show me some numbers of people who can afford 2.5 billion and then we can talk. -

Dan Reeves sniffing around
WVUFootball29 replied to WVUFootball29's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I doubt it if Wade looks like he's on the way out, which is looking more and more like the case. -
Well, it sounds like Mr. Reeves is feeling healthy enough for a return to the NFL as he has been in talks about OC positions I believe in SF and a consulting role with Dallas. Just throwing it out there since that is the norm on this board. Would you take a look at Reeves as a possible consultant/coach in waiting?

What Scouts Inc says about the top 2 TEs
WVUFootball29 replied to Beerball's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Agreed. blocking TEs especially in our current offensive system seem to be the norm. Pettigrew isn't a top 15 pick, I'd call him somewhere in the 18-25 range of the first round. Another TE to keep an eye on is Beckum from Wisconsin. He was injured most of this year, but is a solid all around TE. Look for him on Day 2 -

then name one if they are so plentiful. Name one that has expressed any interest at all in purchasing the Bills -

So you're saying we're trying to lose??? If that is the case Jauron sucks at that too, we should have hired Marinelli -

Glad you took the time to post this. No one has ever considered that the Bills might move. -
Now Congress wants to delay DTV

Well, if they would quit confusing the old folks telling their TVs aren't going to work it wouldnt be as big of deal. -
Mayock's top at each position
WVUFootball29 replied to Beerball's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Nope...still has mack as number 3 on nfl.com Wood really is one of the best coming out at that position. Travis Beckum would be a lot higher without the leg injury this year. I think he could be a nice day 2 sleeper. -
Hey here's another idea though...Ivan Fears has been with the Patriots for 12 years as a WR and RB coach. I bet he knows how to run the offense...lets get him instead http://www.patriots.com/team/index.cfm?ac=...bio&bio=521 While we're at it, we could trade Peters and next years first for Brady since they are going to keep Cassel

Well, I really like Pat White, but I'm not totally sold on him as a NFL QB. Great speed and vision, but his passing is untested. Still he'll probably be an early day 2 pick as a utility offensive player. Truthfully, he could be really dangerous in a Wildcat offense somewhere. Time will tell. I would like to see how he throws at the combine vs what the other QBs do. I'd take a flyer on him in the 5th round or later.

Kentucky HS coach indicted in player's death
WVUFootball29 replied to Beerball's topic in Off the Wall Archives
All the coaches I ever had always denied water until something was done they way the wanted, even during 2 a days. Needing water was a sign of weakness and being lazy and out of shape. Then again it doesnt take much to be a coach in Jamestown because half the time no one wants the teams. -
Kiper's 2009 NFL Mock Draft
WVUFootball29 replied to lets_go_bills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
A DT that can clog the middle will instantly make the DEs and LBs better. Why reach at 11 when you have a top 15 talent player in a position you can use? Right now there is no reason to take a TE at 11 because the talent isn't there and there is a good chance the DEs we want won't be there either -
Well apparently Michael Irvin and NFL have found a way to cash in on the reality TV market http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090122/ap_on_...boys_reality_tv

Solid point Rich. However, maybe slowing the runners down a little at line might be enough for our LBers to adjust before the RB blows by them. Needless to say I think defensive front 7 needs to be addressed on day 1 with 2 picks one DL and one LB preferably.

What do you call the kid who got cut from his High School soccer team?

Mack at 11 is way too early. Him and Unger will be around somewhere between the Mid 1st and early to mid 2nd. Either or I would be happy. Wood from Louisville would be nice in the 3rd-4th range
