  1. yeah I'm having a hard time believing losing Royal was a loss of talent
  2. Did you read anything here? I'm not suggesting that it was only poor coaching that made Williams' a bust. The point I was making is that you can't guarantee that McKinnie would have been a success in Buffalo rather than Minnesota and that stating that we gave up a sure thing in him and took Williams is "useless speculation"
  3. NO way would I ever even think of giving up Marshawn for Beanie....
  4. por·nog·ra·phy Listen to the pronunciation of pornography Pronunciation: \-fē\ Function: noun Etymology: Greek pornographos, adjective, writing about prostitutes, from pornē prostitute + graphein to write; akin to Greek pernanai to sell, poros journey — more at fare, carve Date: 1858 1 : the depiction of erotic behavior (as in pictures or writing) intended to cause sexual excitement 2 : material (as books or a photograph) that depicts erotic behavior and is intended to cause sexual excitement 3 : the depiction of acts in a sensational manner so as to arouse a quick intense emotional reaction <the pornography of violence> I guess it depends on how you look at it. Any printed or pictorial material containing representations of sexually obscene behavior, intended to sexually arouse its audience. There is an obvious and necessary imprecision in this definition of the term pornography, in the sense that what is considered to be sexually obscene behavior, and, for that matter, what might sexually arouse an audience, vary quite widely from time to time, from place to place, and from individual to individual. Nearly all modern societies have laws that prohibit the possession or distribution of at least some forms of pornography, although the statutory suppression and criminalization of sexually obscene material is a relatively recent phenomenon, and is significantly predated by the legal censorship of material that was judged to be sacrilegious or antireligious (religiously obscene) or seditious or treasonous (politically obscene). Generally, laws against pornography Personally, I see nothing wrong with it...too bad she's not topless
  5. If we didn't get him in for a visit, I'm sure at least a phone call was made
  6. that page should be listed on 1000 ways to die
  7. No such thing as a sure thing in the NFL draft. Who's to say it wasn't poor coaching that lead to Mike Williams' disinterest in playing hard every Sunday? Who's to say McKinnie would have performed nearly as well with the Bills? Its all useless speculation
  8. Ok lets divide those stats across career starts 20 starts for Collins = 216.75 yards per game, 1.1 TDs, .95 INTs 29 starts for Johnson - 199.82 ypg, 1.03 TDs, .79 INTs Both are pretty bad... However Collins is 10-10 as a starter while Johnson is 12-17
  9. Yeah, but using the same logic, a catch here and a broken tackle there could have made all the difference as well.
  10. I don't think one player made the entire organization collapse...even under his immense weight. It was a collaborative effort
  11. The worst thing about the Mike Williams deal is that he had the ability to be great and just had no urge to do so....
  12. Dude, do you ever have anything good to say about any Buffalo team?
  13. what if Fred Jackson puts on 20lbs and decides to play fullback instead of halfback? What if Kirk Chambers drops 30lbs and wants to play TE?
  14. Ok, here's a question I'll pose to you all who are so completely against Maybin. How is he that much different than Cam Wake the CFL player that everyone was clamoring over not too long ago? Both are similar builds and similar skill sets.
  15. 11 is too early for pettigrew IMO. Cook, Beckum, Coffman will all be available in rounds 2 and 3 and I think any of them can be just as effective.
  16. Just because we signed McIntyre doesn't mean that he can't be cut for a better player. I can't imagine the guaranteed money on his contract was all that high.
  17. If San Fran doesn't get Warner, I wouldn't be surprised to see Losman out there.
  18. Agreed. Good player, but became expendable with Owen Schmitt on the roster in Seattle, especially when it comes to special teams. Would be an improvement over what we have currently on the roster.
  19. As a pure DE, yes there is a chance that Maybin will bust. But if he's moved around the field between the 2 DE spots and LB he would be a threat you would consistently have to watch and adjust to. Orakpo would be my ideal choice here, but just can't see him getting past Mangini and the Browns. Alot of this is contingent on who else Buffalo can get via Free Agency. If OLB gets adequately filled, I could see Buffalo going after Jerry or Brown instead. Also, there is the possibility of one of the big OTs falling if Cincy grabs a WR to replace TJ Houshmazilly instead of Eugene Monroe A trade down is unlikely here, but there are 2 teams without 1st rounders this years Dallas and Carolina. The question is, what are we going to get from them that would make a trade worthwhile? More picks doesn't seem worth it to me at this point. As FA progresses and Pro Day workouts are complete i will be updating this mock
