  1. I was answering a question not talking about Jauron's contract.
  2. for 6 million dollars??? an awful lot. Hell, i'll let you all say my wife has a big nose to me all day for 3 years for 6 mill. Hell even 1 mill
  3. DJ will not resign. I think he has too much pride for that. He'll stay until we toss his ass out.
  4. They wore them their first 2 seasons in the league.
  5. If DJ hasn't been fired by now...I can't see it coming til the season is over. He should have been canned after the last Cleveland game and just about every game since then and nothing. I'm not getting my hopes up.
  6. Because that owner in Washington has shown you can spend to the cap every year and still look like crap
  7. its going to be said no matter who he brings in.
  8. yeah I met a couple of them when I was in Curacao in 2006. Nothing wrong with a snip here and a plump there.
  9. http://www.sportsbusinessdaily.com/article/130784 According to this the cost to move a team is the team value + stadium value + NFL's relocation fee. the Bills have a Forbes value of 821 million. A stadium right now is an estimated 800 million, and the NFL relocation fee is somewhere between 500 and 600 million. Roughly the total cost is going to be about 2 Billion to move the franchise. Who is going to put up that much money? Even if the government completely pays for the facilty, we're still looking at 1.35 billion just to buy and move the team, plus it needs to be approved by the NFL Owners. This isn't something that is going to happen anytime soon if at all. EDIT I'm sorry the Bills are currently valued at 909 mil. 821 was from 2007
  10. No different than owning a cloned Hemi Charger IMHO.
  11. Another strictly spread option QB. Until someone finds a way to successfully implement it into the NFL, these QBs aren't going to make it.
  12. um he went 22/30 against you guys today...but yeah Syracuse isn't much anymore. If you think Mallett is better than Jones was at Arkansas, you don't watch enough football.
  13. Its not even that. Its that too many fans want our drafted players to be Bruce Smith, Andre Reed, and Jim Kelly when they sign that contract and when they aren't we call them busts and bad picks. We need to realize how spoiled we were in the 90's to have a team like that. How many once in a generation players did we have on that team?
  14. Ford loved that 289 engine in the 60's. Zippy engine, but not the beast of the muscle car age.
  15. Mallett reminds me too much of Mitch Mustaine (now transferred) and the other hordes of forgettable Arkansas QBs BTW Thoner, Mallett was a true freshman at Michigan and was thrust into the starting role with Henne getting hurt during the Oregon game not getting benched. The QB rollercoaster began when Lloyd Carr knew he was coaching for his job, much like Mike Mularkey did with Losman and Holcomb. Now, if we were looking for a low risk high reward QB, at risk of sounding like a homer, I'm gonna go with a guy like Jarrett Brown. 6'4 230lbs with a rocket arm and good mobility. What he lacks is restraint and good decision making. The guy loves to throw the deep ball and has one of the prettiest ones out of all the elegible QBs this year. However, he often forces passes into coverage going for the big play as seen in the Auburn game a few weeks ago. He projects as a poor man's Donovan McNabb or at least as a Kordell Stewart QB who with the right coaching at the next level could find success.
  16. And they call baseball the great American pastime
  17. I agree, with the technology available to us now a days, I don't see why more sports don't use it to eliminate judgement calls from sporting events.
  18. The camera is kinda at a funny angle...its not directly behind the center of the goalposts so it might be an illusion, but man it really does look like that might have missed
  19. What he's not leading the league in sacks after 4 games?? BUST BUST!!!!!
  20. yeah kinda sorta. I saw on Discovery channel the other day, this company did a 1970 Chevelle restore using a GM A-Frame with a Corvette LS1 Engine and Tranny then plopped the Chevelle body on top of it I thought it was pretty cool.
  21. You know what I wouldn't mind doing...finding a frame and engine to a more modern sports car and finding a body of an older one to put on it.
