  1. For my retirement...if I ever get there...I'll be living on a beach somewhere in the Caribbean.
  2. Finally someone who understands how the system works
  3. Yeah takes time to get used to the idea. Me, I like my space, but I've still gotta be close to everything.
  4. Ah, so you're smack in the middle of the concrete jungle?
  5. Man all this tax talk makes me want to crash a plane into the IRS building....oh wait
  6. The thing outside of your house with all the green stuff on it...I think out there they call em hippies
  7. Well, I just started my second week of P90X and man I'll tell you this is one great workout series. I like having a different workout to do every day it helps to keep things fresh and some of the segments like Kenpo are a lot of fun. It is a very tough workout and I think I have bitten off a little more than I should chew starting with this program, but the college athlete is me says you can still do this kind of stuff. Is anyone else currently doing this program or thinking about doing it? Would like to hear your thoughts and concerns regarding P90 Also, one tool that I have found very useful to the success of any fitness plan is Livestrong.com. here they have a daily food diary that you can use to track what you are putting into your body and create an eating plan to help you achieve the results you want. My SN on livestrong is Sabresfan61, and if anyone else is using it, friend me, would love to share some of my recipes with you as well as find some others to make.
  8. I agree Cincy. People rely on these units like they are omnipotent when in fact they are just a tool and like any tool, you need to know how to use it properly for the best results. Keeping your maps and firmware updated are very important along with a little bit of common sense can make these units very helpful. Not too long ago a couple in Oregon got stranded for 3 days on a mountain because they followed their GPS' directions to take a seasonal use only road over the mountain to save time. Sorry, just you really need to think a little with these things and most of them will give you the option to turn off the use for certain types of roads when determining the best route.
  9. Garmin hands down are the best out there and if you can get a nuvi you'll not be disappointed. I have an older Garmin, but it still works great and I never travel without it. I've put more miles on my GPS than I have my Jeep the past 3 years
  10. Love it! And yes I know what you mean with 16 year olds...I used to do the same to my parents...man I wish I had that endless metabolism back.
  11. damn straight...need something to eat to get your energy back afterwards
  12. Ok, just stating that I'm not advocating this trade by any means. Just throwing info out there and looking for a conversation. For the fun of it I'll play the devils advocate here though and say: McGee hasn't played a whole season since 2004 and is constantly nicked up. McKelvin is good, but still needs to improve in coverage...getting him out of zone should help a lot. Florence was probably our best CB last year, but is a free agent after this season. Cromartie on the other hand has played every game for the past 4 seasons with 15 INTs to his credit. Lynch is an above average RB in the NFL when you look at his production, but nothing overly impressive and has had his share of off the field issues in his short career. RBs can be found just about anywhere in the draft or even in FAs whereas CBs are a bit harder to come by. Now would I make this trade? Possibly at draft time dependent upon who is available vs who we have. Right now this is not a trade to make
  13. According to Mort via twitter the Chargers are looking for a RB using Antonio Cromartie as bait. My question here is would you make the trade Lynch for Cromartie straight up, why or why not?
  14. I expect to see 100s of threads as to which players we should get with 1000s of replies as to why the OP is a moron and plenty of fights.
  15. Oh cmon, there have been plenty more dumb than this....njsue comes to mind
  16. Dude, if a couple boring hours isn't worth having a good shot at a hot chick...you might want to turn in your man card now.
  17. Chang-able....ya know, chunky but bangable
  18. Got a feeling San Diego and/or Philly might be interested in looking at Lynch. Still not a lot of prospectus considering RBs can be found anywhere and be a solid back.
  19. Ok, I'm gonna stick up for Stallworth here because the comparisons to Vick, and the rest are just ridiculous. First off Stallworth never lied to the Commissioner's or anyone elses face regarding the accident. He called the police and ambulance for the guy and stayed there until the authorities arrived. Also, while he was drunk, Mr. Reyes (victim) was illegally crossing a major causeway that was poorly lit. Unlike guys like Lynch, Jones, and Vick Stallworth didn't run, didn't lie, and didn't try to cop out. He plead guilty to his crime, gave up his driver's license for life in Florida, and served his time. He has no other history of run ins with the law or anything like that so to lump him in with the thug moniker is wrong in my opinion. Now, that said, let me tell you why I don't want him in Buffalo. One, he has a history of hamstring problems and he rarely plays all 16 games in a season and his stats are quite underwhelming. Two, he is still under contract with the cleveland browns after signing a 7 year deal prior to the 2009 season meaning we would have to trade for him because I doubt the Browns are going to release him and pay him all that cash while getting nothing in return.
  20. Sounds like we have a few more fans coming this month. Congrats in advance to those expecting
