  1. The thing with Posey is that he was a3-4 LB and we stuffed into the 4-3 and expected to do the same things he did before.
  2. Smiley is still under contract and they want a 3rd round pick for him. pass
  3. Capers is going to be like Brad Butler, he projects better as a guard at the NFL level. Good blocker, but lacks the ability to negate speed rushers. Also lacks lateral mobility of an NFL tackle. I've had Selvish graded 3rd-4th round all year and nothing has changed.
  4. I was about to say the jobless rate didn't spike here because it was already way higher than the national average. Hard to show an area lost jobs when there weren't many to begin with.
  5. One has to wonder if Tipster lays in bed at night coming up with trade scenarios just to hear himself talk.... Lets think about this and remember I'm a WVU homer speaking here: Bulger has not completed an entire season since 2006, his only season in which he wasn't hurt and missed time. Since 2006 he has a cumulative passer rating of 71 and has thrown 25 TDs against 34 INTs in three injury filled seasons winning 6 games as the QB. What about him makes you think he is worth trading anything for and who on the open market is going to start a bidding war for him if he is released? Also, nice job backpedaling again when someone challenges your remarks, you might want to try out for CB.
  6. Ah Out Cold...horribly underrated movie
  7. The NFL Networks Analysts are paid versions of half the posters on this board, lots of talk, not lots of knowledge
  8. Pearl St. rocks, can't beat it. You could also walk over to the cobblestone district, a couple decent bars over there. I think the little Irish pub by Pilot field is called Irish Times and that is a fun place as well.
  9. I bet we could sign him on the cheap
  10. well, we're bringing in some 3-4 role players to help out with this transition. I don't think Edwards is that big of health concern since he played the entire season in 2009 only a season removed from his injury. His neck should be stronger now than before.
  11. wasn't specifically naming the price, but I've seen fights charge excessive amounts like that. I think tyson v. mcneeley was in the 80s at the time.
  12. Its going to take someone getting killed on the ice before the League and Owners wake up. Taking policing abilities away from the players on the ice, then not adequately policing the game off the ice is going to lead to goons and cheapshot artists doing as they please until someone goes down big time.
  13. One of the main downfalls of the sport. Throw in fixes, years between good fights, and the lack of a true championship system (How many bodies have their own championships now?) and you can see why the sport has faded from the mainstream. Paying $80-120 per pay per view for a crappy boxing match hasn't helped either.
  14. Guess they didn't research this lady while making the list http://www.myspace.com/38103495
  15. Brought Skelton up months ago and still think he could be a darkhorse prospect at QB. Still not worth any higher than a 5th at this point.
  16. What has Troy Smith done in the NFL that warrants adding yet another QB to the roster when we have holes all over the place? Ok he was good in college, but so was Ken Doresy and I recall people clamoring to get him in a Bills uni.
  17. the fewer ankle biters the better I keed I keed, but still driving the predators out of NY and PA was kinda dumb.
  18. Jason LaCanfora is a moron who gets most of his "scoops" from Twitter.
  19. The only downside to the ignore feature is that you miss out on gems like the Tracy lee DVD saga or the birth of retatta. Never know when an instant classic is going to pop up
