  7. You get what you pay for. Better facilities attract better players and improve the fan experience at the game.
  8. No, I'm talking about stadiums that had horrid sight lines, lack of amenities, and just plan lacked character. The problem with multi-purpose stadiums is that for one sport you'll not be centered on the action. Take the Kingdome for example, the stadium's sightlines were centered on the 50 yard like for football, which is good, but when you played baseball in there, the action would be off to the left or right of center depending on where you sat. You ended up twisting one way or the other to get a good comfortable view.
  9. Because the talking heads say so and people believe the media. In a perfect world, no one is considered a reach if you are getting the right player for your team and you believe that he fits your system better than the other options on the board.
  10. Great Shots Fez, looks like a gorgeous ball park. I truly believe we are in the platinum age of building athletic facilities. Finally getting away from atrocities such as the Kingdome, Three Rivers, and such.
  11. I'll take Seattle and if we don't get enough to fill the draft, I'll just do the entire NFC west Also, lets keep trades to a minimum as some years its gotten completely out of control
  12. the beer batter is going to be kinda sweet and spicy (if you choose to add more seasoning) so I don't recommend it for chicken fingers you plan to put wing sauce on. I'd just use a standard batter for that.
  13. I like to make a beer batter myself, here's a quick recipe that I use as a base when making batter: 1 12 oz Beer 1 1/2 cups Flour 1/2 tsp Salt 1 tsp Paprika 1 cup Flour Pour the beer into a large bowl. Sift the flour, salt, and paprika into the beer, whisking until the batter is light and frothy. Before dipping the meat into the batter, cover with flour to get all the moisture off it so the batter with stick better. Then deep fry at 350 til a nice golden brown.
  14. Nothing going on tuesday for me, you can count me in
  15. Dev, I think you confuzzled a lot of people with this topic. I love it
  16. Jim, one thing you can do that will really help when learning to type is get a sheet of paper that completely covers the keyboard and teach your fingers to find the home keys (F and J on PC, D and K on Mac) and be able to move without seeing the keyboard. It sucks at first, but that is how I learned and after a week or two your muscle memory kicks in.
  17. Nah, Tom you got it wrong, usually around the 20 minute mark you get asked to be on Dancing with the Stars
  18. I would be just fine with that. One of the better LT prospects in the draft
