  1. Manchin is looking to follow suit
  2. voted...so far all my horses are running behind...I swear I'm cursed or something.
  3. Cutler is better than a lot of QBs in the league, playing behind a Chicago line that is nearly as bad as the Bills' line with no real WRs to throw to. Is he great? No, but dumping a 1st round QB after a 4,000+ yard season isn't shrewd management or ownership and the Broncos' record has shown that.
  4. Lets not give Denver's ownership too much credit...they brought in McDaniels who effectively ran off a star QB and WR and is touting a 10-14 record as the head coach....
  5. Solder and Hightower will be 1st-2nd round picks as well
  6. Almost as Buffalo as a Genny Cream Ale with your Friday night fish fry
  7. LOL, I love how even after its been noted several times that this was a joke people continue to bash me for hating on Garrison. Just shows how much actual reading goes on here. So many posters on this board are so quick to jump on another poster and their opinions it isn't even funny anymore. It isn't just about disagreeing with people, its about personally attacking the other posters, belittling, and almost to the point of trying to humiliate people on a daily basis. These are the things that have brought this board to an all-time low in my opinion. I know the Bills are bad and people are frustrated, but we so quickly forget that football is just a game and is a means of entertainment. It isn't life or death who wins or loses, but some people find a way to take it personally that the Bills lost. I have friends who have their weekends ruined when the Bills lose. I'm sorry that is just taking it way to seriously. If your personal life is directly affected by how the Bills perform and you aren't on the field or in the offices at OBD, please take sometime to reflect on what is truly important in your life. The intent of this thread was to have a little fun by pretending to blame a player who sees the field about 10 plays per game for the Bills' woes. I definitely got some entertaining responses. Thank you for those as I did need some laughs this week. DaninUtica, thanks for the kind words and sticking up for me, I appreciate those who enjoy my posts. Sadly, I got tired of taking the time to research players and prospects to share with the board to have my posts buried in redundant threads about how the Bills suck, Wilson is cheap, and other ideas just thrown at the wall to see what sticks. I've also been very busy with my first born child who is turning 9 months old in a few days so I have not had the opportunities to post as much as I would like. As the season winds down and we start looking more closely at the off season, you might see a few new topics from ole'WU.
  8. Man I half expected someone to say, "I don't see anyone by the name of Satire on the roster/PS." Word, sorry I hurt your feelings by polluting the board, but you could try lightening up. Besides, where are these worthwhile posts you're talking about? I haven't seen anything resembling such on this board in a while. Maybe if we didn't run off people like Graham, Lori, and JW we would have something here.
  9. I hear every week a new player we need to get rid of, but no one mentions Sanborn. I mean really, what has the guy done for the Bills? he takes up a roster spot that could be used for an impact player on offense or defense. Anyone can snap balls, heck isn't that why we have a center? He's cheap though, that's why Ralph likes him. Doesn't cost a lot there. I say cut him and bring in more offensive lineman or Shawne Merriman. I mean he might only have one leg and lost 20lbs from his neck, but he's still a superstar. I bet he could even long snap too.
  10. I pay enough for beer as it is...no need to pay more to get it from fourbucks
  11. theres a bills game this weekend? got them all in 88 seconds
  12. Driving across I86 last night I saw a white ball like that streak across the sky really quick. Coulda been aliens I guess.
  13. Well they say life has its ups and downs....
  14. I could drink a 6pack of natty and pee in a bottle for ya. about the same
  15. Funny thread, but I'm beginning to think this board has hit rock bottom
  16. Good but not great defender. Won't cost you guys games
  17. This just in, Eliot Spitzer to run for Mayor of Toronto...too soon?
  18. Its very doable. Thurman has a facility that he runs in WNY that does similar to what you are thinking. http://www.thurmanthomassports.com/home.html
  19. Lesson time: An automatic weapon is a gun that when fired extracts the casing and loads a new round into the chamber. Automatic does not exclusively mean a machine gun where you hold the trigger and continue to fire until the magazine is empty, that would be Fully-Automatic which for the most part are illegal. Automatic many times truthfully means Semi-automatic where when a shot is fired and the next round is loaded the trigger needs to be pulled again for the next shot to fire. The media typically calls any weapon that is semi-automatic an "automatic" because that is the technical term and sounds more deadly. So we hear that shooter is using an AK-47, that means fully-automatic because that's what we typically see in the media when you look at wars overseas. The truth is the AK-47 which is legal in many states is actually a semi-automatic rifle and is very popular due to its maintenance and reliability. It also uses a 7.62x39mm round, similar to a .308 which is a popular hunting round because of its knockdown ability. But an AK-47 is much more dangerous than a deer hunting rifle right? Not really, all guns are dangerous and capable of killing, that is what they are made to do. The biggest difference between an assault rifle and hunting rifle is the amount of ammunition held in the magazine and a "pistol grip." Truthfully a good hunting rifle is much more accurate than any AK which means it is deadlier in the hands of a skilled shooter. Now I'm a gun advocate, I possess and carry weapons. I'm a former police officer and my dad was a police officer so I've been around them all my life. I don't believe that a ban on any type of weapon is a solution to any violence problem because there are a plethora of unregistered weapons in the hands of people throughout the country and trying to take them all away will be about as effective as making all drugs illegal. Its an endless war and you'll never stop either, you can only hope to do your best containing them. If this country wants an effective method of gun control, this is my idea. All weapons, handguns, rifle, shotgun, etc must be registered to a licensed weapon owner. To become a licensed weapon holder I feel you need to do more than just fill out an application and submit to a background check. I believe that if you are going to own a weapon you must be trained and qualify on that weapon in a class where you not only learn to operate that weapon, but properly and effectively shoot a target and safely store the weapon. Also, it might not hurt to have to pass a psyche evaluation. Hey, I had to do it to be in the police academy, no reason any other nut shouldn't have to to own a weapon.
