So the Packers get Losman and Rodgers has the chance of slipping to us in the second...not seeing the downside there.

Hah, blaming Bledsoe for the current state of the Bills is probably the dumbest reason I've heard yet...and I've heard some pretty stupid ones. Had we never cut peerless price loose I think the bills wouldnt have taken a step backwards after an 8-8 season. I know Price wanted big money, but we could have at least kept him around for another season with the tag instead of trading him for WM who contributed nothing to the following season. I still think wasting a number one pick on WM knowing that he wasnt going to play was a big mistake. I'll retract that statement though should WM decide to get his ass in gear on the field this year and finish in the top 5 rushers. You have to blame Ralph wilson and Tom Donahoe for the current state of the Bills. Its not a cop out. Its called poor management. TD neglected the lines and spent more time and money on skill position players and luxury picks, i.e. McGahee and Parrish. I also think that it was a huge mistake to not wait until the 2nd round for Losman. Now, I'm a Losman supporter, but I still didnt see him as a 1st rounder, and even if we didnt get him, we would have had a shot at Matt Schaub, who I still think would have been the better choice to backup Bledsoe. My beef with Wilson is letting TD talk him into another inexperienced HC after the Gregg Williams bust, but I can understand it...TD is pretty persuasive and Ralph isnt as sharp as he used to be (Is it Monday?). Poor management yields poor results in any business and football is no exception.

I thought they said Hughes was now 17....which means legal in NY.

Hey Wall Golfers, what is in your bag?
WVUFootball29 replied to ACor58's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Driver Taylormade R7 Quad Wood: Warrior Custom Golf 5 & 7...since the friggin 3 wood broke at the range Irons: Warrior Custom Golf Irons with oversized grips Wedges: Warrior Custom Golf wedges 52,56,61 Putter: Some Tommy Armour thing I picked up along the way. I love my R7...the Warrior wedges, I got 3 for 30 bucks and they play great. the woods are ok, but one broke within a week...granted I have a lifetime guarantee/waranty, but they dont play as nice as I'd like. The irons bite like a bear trap, but are very unforgiving. Stay away from warrior custom golf and stick to brand names. Anyone here interested in doing the Nike 3 Club Tour by ESPN when they are in Rochester this year??? 500 bucks gets to a day of training...a new NIke Sasquatch Driver, CBP Wedge, and Putter. I want to do it, I could really use some instruction to go with my 285 yrd driving average so I can actually score as well hit. -
Ok Stupid Wild Ass...Who is going to run the ball for the Bills if we get rid of McGahee??? Shaud Williams??? Lionel Gates who has yet to play a regular season down??? Waste an early pick on a running back????

Keep an eye on Ochs...I have a feeling this kid might just be good enough to grab the #3 spot at QB on this roster. :::Prepares for the onslaught of Tory Woodbury lovers:::

What should the Bills have done at QB
WVUFootball29 replied to Orton's Arm's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Any statistic can say whatever you want it to say. Its like bending a piece of copper wire, you can make any shape you want if you twist it enough. The way I see it, if we were/are going to stick with a veteran QB instead of working Losman, we should have kept Bledsoe. -
Its the typical Buffalo love affair with the underdog...i.e: Brandon Spoon Tim Tindale Which I can understand since Buffalo is always the underdog. However, I still just dont see what you people see in Tory Woodbury. He's been around the league since 2001 and has yet to break into a lineup. If you are a serious player, you dont stay a secret for 5 years. If I remember correctly the Jets even had him at WR in one of the years he was there. Now, I'd be thrilled if after going to Europe he becomes the next Delhomme, but I believe this guy has Brad Banks written all over him.

That looks like something my dad would have done to me.... But it still is frigging hilarious

Wayne is a solid receiver in a good situation...I'd be suprised if he found similar success elsewhere in the NFL as a #1 WR.

Just in...Baltimore is now a potential suitor for Culpepper. there is speculation at the Baltimore Sun that the Ravens may tag Jamal Lewis and send him to Minnesota for Culpepper. Reports out of Minneapolis state that the Vikes are looking for a 2nd round pick for Culpepper. Culpepper's team in 2006 in order of probability: 1. Minn 2. Miami 3. Jets 4. Raiders 5. Baltimore

Another Dolfelon in trouble

Not if you are above the arctic circle -
All depends on how we are looking at this. Young with a lot of upside, I'd take Fitzgerald Experience and leadership... Harrison Flat out deep threat, Johnson or Moss

Let me rephrase that then. they are in need of a running back capable of performing: Rushing Statistics NAME ATT YDS AVG LNG TD FUM LST Mewelde Moore 155 662 4.3 33 1 1 1 Michael Bennett 126 473 3.8 61 3 4 3 Daunte Culpepper 24 147 6.1 18 1 1 0 Ciatrick Fason 32 62 1.9 15 4 0 0 anything there impress you? didnt think so Neither Moore or Bennett strike me as workhorses out of the backfield and their past injuries are proof of that. That said, One of them in the trade to Miami for williams and a solid pick would be a deal that would benefit both clubs. However, I still think Oakland is leading in the running for Culpepper at this point, but everything depends on what Al Davis does with Kerry Collins
-
dont count out the raiders...Culpepper to Moss/Porter could the last stone to get the Raiders over the hump....well that and a real running back. All depends on what they decide to do with Kerry Collins. If the choice comes down to Miami and NYJ...I'm going to say Miami right now. Saban has told Frerotte that he isn't going to be the starter last I heard and Culpepper would give Saban a Rohan Davey-esque QB to run his offense. Plus Minn could use a running back and I'm sure Miami wouldnt mind being rid of Ricky Williams. Thats my thoughts on it. We'll see. I'd been pressing the trade to Arizona for Culpepper, but since the cards resigned Warner, I dont see that happening now.

3 small piles or 1 large pile of crap...either way thats all you got here

Thats just cruel

I understand where you are coming from with this...but Kitna suits the Cincy offense much better than Johnson or Krenzel. I've never been overwhelmed by either or their arms. Both are serviceable back ups...but unless Palmer has some miraculous recovery they are going to need a starter. Kitna's options are a bit limited right now as well. Arizona, Miami, NY Jets, maybe Oakland are the only teams that might have use for him. Arizona depends on what they do with McCown and Warner who are both FAs, my guess is one or the other will stay...but I also think Green might be able to work out a deal for Culpepper, depending on his injury. Miami has pretty much told Frerotte that he won't be the starter next year and I can't really see them benching Frerotte for a guy like Kitna. The jets right now are a good possibility if Pennington doesnt come back or is too injured to be a reliable starter. Oakland depends on what Shell decides to do with Collins. Two other maybes are Green Bay if Favre retires and they arent sold on Rodgers yet, or Chicago...but both are highly doubtful to me at this point. Maybe Detriot depending on the Harrington situation. Basically, teams aren't going to be beating a path to Kitna's door just yet if at all.

but I'll throw in Alaska Darin and the often imitated, but never duplicated BF in Indiana
-
I like Doug, but he'll more than likely be camp fodder to compete with Krenzel and Bramlet if they bring him to camp again. The Bengals would be foolish to not resign Kitna with the injury to Palmer possibly keeping him out until week 4. Heck even if Palmer starts week 1...that is a serious injury and he will not be 100% all year. Knee injuries in the playoffs not only kill your post season, but damage your next season as well.
