Well you just proved your lack of knowledge....There is no way in the world that Charlize and Jolie are going to drop the the 7th round. You're dreaming.

yeah I know...but i figured about 12 days before I could get a pretty good sense of things... however, I dont think this is the last of the trades we are gonna see next weekend...I think the Jets might just jump up and grab Leinart and if they do, there is an outside chance that D'Brick or Hawk fall to us, depending on what New Orleans and Green bay do. If the saints take Mario instead of D'brick at 4, green bay is the only team that doesnt have big money wrapped up in a younger tackle right now. If green bay passes on D'brick for Hawk, we have a chance at him. OR.... If the Saints take D'Brick, like they should...its a strong possibility that the Packers take Super Mario instead of Hawk, which means we'd have to hope the 49ers dont take Hawk and I think the Raiders will pass on him as well. But like I said, its an outside chance...like hitting an inside straight flush on the river that said, I'm still convinced with the amount of line talent in this draft we can grab an impact player with the first pick and still build a solid line from 2-5. but we can't neglect depth at other positions and pick more than 4 lineman. We're still gonna need a CB to replace Thomas, especially someone big enough to move into a starting role soon. Also a solid backup RB for McGahee should he go down for an extended period of time. Shaud Williams can't carry the load himself and if Lionel Gates was that good, he would have seen some time last year. Just a few things to think about.

Bah you guys are right....I wrote him down then put another player in for him...good thing I'm reworking this draft as we speak As for Hagan I think he'd be able to step in just fine....I think before june 21 you're going to see a ton of WR cut from the bills

Up until this mornings trade I had been working on a mock draft since last week. This was my latest revision of it. Players were graded by Scouts Inc's lastest grades on ESPN, which were updated on Tuesday. Let's hear some opinions...hopefully nothing but constructive criticism, though I should really know better here Round 1 Pick # Player Position College Houston 1 Reggie Bush RB USC New Orleans 2 D'Brickashaw Ferguson OT Virginia Tennessee 3 Matt Leinart QB USC NY Jets 4 Mario Williams DE NC State Green Bay 5 AJ Hawk OLB Ohio State San Francisco 6 Vernon Davis TE Maryland Oakland 7 Vince Young QB Texas Buffalo 8 Michael Huff DB Texas Detroit 9 Jimmy Williams DB Virginia Tech Arizona 10 Jay Cutler QB Vanderbilt St. Louis 11 Haloti Ngata DT Oregon Cleveland 12 Kamerion Wimbley DE/OLB Florida State Baltimore 13 Winston Justice OT USC Philadelphia 14 Chad Jackson WR Florida Denver 15 Santonio Holmes WR Ohio State Miami 16 Ernie Sims OLB Florida State Minnesota 17 Chad Greenway OLB Iowa Dallas 18 Donte Whitner S Ohio State San Diego 19 Jonathan Joseph CB South Carolina Kansas City 20 Tye Hill CB Clemson New England 21 DeAngelo Williams RB Memphis Denver 22 Laurence Maroney RB Minnesota Tampa Bay 23 Manny Lawson DE/OLB NC State Cincinnati 24 Antonio Cromartie CB Florida State NY Giants 25 Bobby Carpenter OLB Ohio State Chicago 26 Ashton Youboty CB Ohio State Carolina 27 LenDale White RB USC Jacksonville 28 Mathias Kiwanuka DE Boston College NY Jets 29 Nick Mangold OC Ohio State Indianapolis 30 Demeco Ryans OLB Alabama Seattle 31 Jason Allen DB Tennessee Pittsburgh 32 Sinorice Moss WR Miami Round 2 Houston 33 Eric Winston OT Miami New Orleans 34 Gabe Watson DT Michigan NY Jets 35 Kelly Jennings CB Miami Green Bay 36 Davin Joseph OG Oklahoma Oakland 37 Claude Wroten DT LSU San Francisco 38 Richard Marshall CB Fresno State Tennessee 39 Marcus McNeill OT Auburn Detroit 40 D'Qwell Jackson ILB Maryland Arizona 41 Marcedes Lewis TE UCLA Buffalo 42 Andrew Whitworth OT LSU Cleveland 43 Rodrique Wright DT/NT Texas Baltimore 44 Max Jean-Gillies OG Georgia Philadelphia 45 Rocky McIntosh OLB Miami St. Louis 46 Leonard Pope TE Georgia Atlanta 47 Tamba Hali DE Penn State Minnesota 48 Brodie Croyle QB Alabama Dallas 49 Deuce Lutui OG USC San Diego 50 Daniel Bullocks S Nebraska Minnesota 51 Abdul Hodge ILB Iowa New England 52 Thomas Howard OLB UTEP Washington 53 Darryl Tapp DE Virginia Tech Kansas City 54 Maurice Stovall WR Notre Dame Cincinnati 55 Anthony Fasano TE Notre Dame NY Giants 56 Orien Harris DT Miami Chicago 57 John McCargo DT NC State Carolina 58 Joel Klopfenstein TE Colorado Tampa Bay 59 Greg Jennings WR Western Michigan Jacksonville 60 Alan Zematis CB Penn State Denver 61 Ko Simpson S South Carolina Indianapolis 62 Joseph Addai RB LSU Seattle 63 Danieal Manning S Abilene Christian Pittsburgh 64 Darnell Bing S USC Round 3 Houston 65 Cedric Griffin CB Syracuse Houston 66 Charles Spencer OG Pittsburgh Green Bay 67 Chris Chester OC Oklahoma San Francisco 68 Mark Anderson DE Alabama Oakland 69 Brian Calhoun RB Wisconsin Buffalo 70 Kyle Williams DT LSU NY Jets 71 Darryn Colledge OT Boise State Arizona 72 Patrick Watkins S Florida State Buffalo 73 Derek Hagan WR Arizona State Detroit 74 Jon Alston OLB Stanford New England 75 Dee Webb CB Florida Philadelphia 76 Jonathan Scott OT Texas St. Louis 77 Demario Minter CB Georgia Cleveland 78 Travis Wilson WR Oklahoma Atlanta 79 Bernard Pollard S Purdue Dallas 80 Montavious Stanley DT Louisville San Diego 81 Jason Avant WR Michigan Miami 82 Brandon Marshall WR Central Florida Minnesota 83 David Pittman CB Northwestern State San Francisco 84 Gerris Wilkinson LB Georgia Tech Kansas City 85 Kellen Clemens QB Oregon New England 86 Babtunde Oshinowo DT Stanford NY Giants 87 Maurice Drew RB UCLA Chicago 88 Dominique Byrd TE USC Carolina 89 Parys Haralson DE Tennessee Tampa Bay 90 Greg Eslinger OC Minnesota Cincinnati 91 Ray Edwards DE Purdue Jacksonville 92 David Thomas TE Texas Denver 93 Dusty Dvoracek DT Oklahoma Indianapolis 94 Rob Sims OG Ohio State Seattle 95 Brandon Williams WR Wisconsin Pittsburgh 96 Victor Adeyanju DE Indiana NY Jets 97 Charlie Whitehurst QB Clemson

What really grinds my gears
WVUFootball29 replied to WVUFootball29's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
At this point your guess is as good as mine -
You know what really grinds my gears.....when you been working on a 7 round mock draft for 2 days and when you finally get to the middle of the 6th round someone goes and makes a trade that gives San Fran two 1st round picks and totally changes Denver's draft strategy. Oh well back to the drafting board....from near scratch

Tom Cruise vows to eat placenta.

damn it you beat to it..... -
Either that or the teams are pretty even in the middle of the pack. I think this has been a great year for hockey...least it gave us Buffalo fans something to cheer about this year.

Mel Kiper on Mike & Mike this morning
WVUFootball29 replied to FightClub's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Wonder if your dogs can read as well as you... He said Mel Kiper was on Mike and Mike and gave his top 8 picks. IMO I find it hard to believe that the Saints would shy away from D'Brick, especially after trading away Wayne Gandy their starting LT. BTW my dog suspects the Bills will wait til the second or even third round to grab a DT...then again my dog also likes to chase parked cars. -
Cincy WR and firearms charges
WVUFootball29 replied to Ghost of BiB's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
haha...you show me someone willing to defend the numberous charges Henry has racked up in one NFL season and I'll show you someone who cares too much about football to move out of his moms basement in suburban Cincinnati. -
Cincy WR and firearms charges
WVUFootball29 replied to Ghost of BiB's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Henry was an idiot at West Virginia, and now he's just an idiot with money. The only good thing is, they tend to weed themselves out of the NFL pretty quickly...except TO...then again TO is the best WR in NFL when he wants to be. -
Probably pretty slim, but I'm sure JP-Era could make you some replicas

I highly doubt that

Who has Coyotes in their area?
WVUFootball29 replied to X. Benedict's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We got a ton of them here in Chautauqua County...and you are allowed to shoot them, as long as you follow NYS hunting regulations for discharging firearms. I say, get rid of the damn things. -
No he is not an RFA this year.
-
I realize we have Fowler, but you gotta think depth. I dont think Preston can handle the load yet at Center for a whole season if Fowler goes down. Plus, competition in camp is always a good thing.

As per ESPN and The Milwaukee Journal Sentinal: The Packers opened their offseason workout program this week, but Walker was missing in action, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports. The wide receiver has reportedly ired a real-estate agent and will have his Green Bay home up for sale very soon. Walker has made it clear that he has no desire to ever play another game for Green Bay. Even if the Packers were to offer Walker a lucrative contract, he would not consider returning. "If I had to go back there, I'd retire," Walker told ESPN.com's Michael Smith. "I don't have to play. I really have no interest in being in a Green Bay Packers uniform or playing for Green Bay again." The Packers have expressed disappointment with Walker's stance and have thus far denied his request for a trade. The club issued a statement that read, in part: "During his time as a Green Bay Packer, Javon Walker has been well thought of by everyone here. I like Javon, certainly as a person and as a player. That said, Javon is under contract ... and we expect him to honor it ... I don't anticipate us making any concessions in this matter." Walker is entering the final year of a five-year, $6.7 million contract. He underwent reconstructive knee surgery Oct. 7 in Houston to repair a torn anterior cruciate ligament and torn meniscus cartilage. Because Walker is damaged goods, the Packers might be fortunate to get even a mid- to late-round pick in return. However, his base salary of $650,000 would be attractive for any team. I'd be willing to take a chance on Walker for a 5th rounder and a conditional pick in 07, especially given the lack of WRs in FA and the draft. With Moulds wanting out we're going to need to do something to take the coverage off Lee Evans and hopefully a fully recovered Walker could do just that.

was about to suggest the same thing... Full Name: Jeffrey Kalei Faine Born: April 6, 1981 Milwaukie, OR Height: 6-3 Weight: 291 lbs. Age: 24 Pos: C Experience: 3 years College: Notre Dame Drafted: Year:2003 Round:1 Pick:21, Browns Faine has played 36 games across 3 seasons. While he's had some injury problems he is still a good offensive lineman with a small contract. If he can be picked up for a minimal trade it would be worth it in my opinion. Scouts Inc. has him rated as a 69 (adequate starter) Scouts Inc review of Jeff Faine: He is quick and athletic. He shows solid initial quickness in-line. He shows the ability to get his first step in the ground quickly. He plays with solid lateral quickness in pass pro. He is a smart player - can make all the line calls up front. He provides solid help in pass pro. He shows good awareness for stunts and delayed blitzes. He is effecting pulling both left and right - can find and locate on the move. He shows solid re-direct vs. double moves. He uses his hands well in both the run and pass games. The biggest negative with him is that he fancies himself as a tough guy, but he plays extremely soft inside. He gets knocked back into the backfield too often at the snap. He gets walked back into the QB vs. power rushers. He does not offer position versatility - strictly an OC
-
the Akron Beacon Journal is reporting that Jeff Faine of the Cleveland Browns has been given permission by the team to seek a trade. He is still under his rookie contract and has a cap hit of less than $1 million for 2006. no word on what Cleveland is seeking as compensation.

You'll get your QB killed if you can't/don't run the ball...i.e. Philly and McNabb this year. RB is just as important as it ever was.
-
Playing for a team with a 9-7 record...
-
not really...Michael bennett just left for New Orleans...leaving Mewelde Moore as the lone starter with Chester Taylor and Ciatrick Fason. I forgot Minnesota got Taylor, but everything I've heard still has them going RB in the first. EDIT: Well after taking a second look around Minnesota is looking DB either CB or SS in the first now...so a trade up to grab Huff isnt all that out of the question, but they'll probably sit tight and wait for Tye Hill or Donte Whitner
-
doubtful...minnesota will stay put and take LenDale White or DeAngelo Williams at 17...unless by chance Vince Young falls past the Raiders then they might trade up
-
Because JT O'Sullivan is their only other QB on the roster who has 4years experience and no regular season play time. they need a QB, but not til the second round...look for them to take Brodie Croyle or Omar Jacobs

Available OL as of tonight
WVUFootball29 replied to WVUFootball29's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Never saw him play...but cant be any worse than what we presently have a guard. I like the Fowler signing...at least for depth, but if I remember correctly he played pretty well the second half of the season as a starter. Hopefully Buffalo can make at least 2 more OL signings, one tackle one guard. then we can grab a couple OL in the draft and hopefully be set.
