    So how come the other players got the call and he did not? Apparently he wasn’t present with everyone else.

    Apparently the players who were huddled up heard the play call. The guy kicking balls in a net missed the call. Hmmmmm. You don’t see QBs missing play calls because they are warming up on the sideline.

    The difference is you need to be present with your team while the play is being called. They have the entire prior possession to kick balls in a net; it’s not like the situations you cite.

    Gotta be a tough decision. The pressure in NY/NJ will be as great if not greater, though he may be able to ride under Daboll’s shadow for a year or two.

    This is what I don’t understand about kickers and punters. Those knuckleheads are kicking balls into a net by themselves when the rest of the team is huddling up and making a plan for the kick. Is it really necessary to kick a ball into a net until the moment you run onto the field of play?

    The worst part for me is that Josh was in a zone and I wanted to see where he could take the team. Unfortunately the Bills’ defense was the one opponent he couldn’t beat.

    The defense kept KC within reach all game. So what do they do? Play some f-ed up defensive calls and allow KC to run through them like sheet through a goose. Mind boggling.

    Or perhaps just put someone within 20 yards of them.

    They kicked the FG with 3 seconds on the clock, so even if the kickoff burned 3 seconds while they fair caught or gave themselves up as soon as they touched it, the Chiefs still had the necessary time to get in range. The failure was all on the defense.

    Gotta break em in early. My first season really following the team was 1968. 1-12-1. Left me wanting more, because there was so little to like. Your son may get spoiled by Josh. He’s a generational talent and person. Lucky kid!

    There hasn’t been a championship game here in 30 years. KC has had it two years in a row. Surprised the difference isn’t far greater.
