  1. @Bill from NYC ”Act your way into a new way of thinking”
  2. I hear ya. I had seasons in the late 90s until 2010, mostly to have a guaranteed playoff ticket. You can guess how that worked out. For the 2-3 games I want to go to during Sept-Oct I just buy resale and will deal with the playoff ticket cost via resale.
  3. I was gonna come on here and say it is getting impossible for wide receivers to be first ballot HOFers. Boy, was I off base.
  4. If you are selling off many games on the secondary market and bitching about the low return, just buy tickets on the secondary market and ditch the seasons. If you aren’t going to every game, maybe the economics will work out.
  5. More often than not, the Super Bowl is not a good game, often not competitive and often sloppy. This year’s game started great but injuries during the game made a negative impact. If a Super Bowl is close and goes down to the wire, that’s the best you can hope for given the off-the-charts hype leading up to it. The game was pretty slow in the middle but I enjoyed the whole thing a lot, especially knowing football is over for quite a while.
  6. I mean, it was no “Up With People”, but it was alright for the youngsters. That Mary J Bilge has rather large thighs.
  7. Perhaps because the old one is a safety hazard and is at the end of its useful life without considerable reconstruction?
  8. I was thinking of starting a thread about cringe-worthy lyrics after listening to Jimmy Buffett’s Livingston Saturday Night: So won't you listen to the sound of a hot country band, Boot heels are shufflin' on the dance floor Sam Sing a song, play some pong, shoot a little pool, Hittin' on the honeys right out of high school Yeah, fifteen may get you twenty, But that's all right, 'Cause they be rockin and a rollin' On a Livingston Saturday Night
  9. I appreciate whenever someone posts links like these. Thank you! Great interview.
  10. Isn’t that your main motivation for working for a living?
  11. My wife and I were coming home from a concert at CMAC. We were both completely sober. I was driving and on some backroads to avoid traffic heading for the Thruway. Came to a blinking yellow light at the crest of a hill and I began to make a left turn. A car came flying up over the crest of the hill and I hesitated for a moment, unsure whether to stop or go but neither seemed like it would avoid a crash. I floored it and made the turn. It was a 2010 Prius, so flooring it doesn’t really do much. We made it though the intersection and I immediately pulled over. I had the sensation of being….transported is the only way I can describe it. I felt like we had been in the crash but somehow time got turned back. We sat in silence for a few moments and I asked my wife if she was ok. I told her the weird sensation I had and how it felt we had actually crashed. She said she felt the same way and couldn’t explain what happened. I’ll never forget that feeling or understand how we didn’t get crushed.
  12. I wanted to tag an “Agree” on this post, but then saw who the poster was and just couldn’t do it.
  13. Waiting for Bass’s book: “How I Flubbed the Kickoff - IF I Did”.
  14. “Daniel, if you can’t get us to 16 losses, we’ll bring in Davis Webb to get the job done”
  15. Mining personally identifiable information. Hasn’t Google already sold it all already?
  16. This makes me smile knowing we finally have a franchise QB. And the kid is an awesome person too.
  17. Every woman in America just said “See? I told you!”
  18. I’m hearing Webb is in line for the Texans HC job.
  19. You had me until you started “connecting the dots”. Nice try Don.
