Bates has a 43-page thread prior to signing and a 20-page thread after signing. Rick Bates is clearly the most thread-worthy player ever on the Bills, on a per game started (4) basis. Great job Rick!

I thought he gave some good insight and I laughed when he was talking about Gabe’s minivan and hearing Shaq coming down the hallway. What was the topic around the 12:00 mark where Sean said it was an isolated incident?

So how bad does the decision to not put a second round tender on Bates seem now? Curious if folks think this 4 year contract at 17M is a better outcome than that.

I’m wondering if the standing room provides for more areas for fans to congregate temporarily during the game. So people can hang out in a group similar to tailgating. Perhaps it’s not intended to be a whole game type thing. And it may be temperature controlled during later in the season. That doesn’t seem to be too difficult to accomplish.

Unless you’re underground, and the earth provides a foundation you don’t have to build.

Bills also have a lower average ticket price. Smaller capacity will bump that average up considerably.

I think Cleveland is going to do the Brock Osweiler type deal and send Baker and some draft pick(s) to a team with excess cap space. The Browns only return will be cap relief and dumping a headache.

You do realize the Bills have already signed Baker’s backup and Barkley, right?

3 gigantic holes, but still not as big as Tommy

Every time I see a mock draft I do a shot.

I could swear I saw an article in the past week that Tyreek had already signed an extension. Maybe there is some bad blood there, maybe he saw the Adams deal and went for the bigger money, but I’m sure if there was a way, KC would have kept him. KC got a lot of decent draft picks and Miami got a big star to put some fannies in the seats. Good deal for both and Tyreek makes bank too.

Just because you aren’t sure you have a franchise QB doesn’t mean you don’t improve your team. It’s a lousy QB draft so waiting a year when you have two firsts is fine.

It was a good trade for Miami. They essentially forfeit this year’s draft, but have two #1s next year. I would make this trade all day every day.
