  1. Well, at 7’ 10” he’s tough to miss.
  2. His most famous speech…. They call me tater salad
  3. You’d be shocked at what I recognize in my dreams. 🤣
  4. Took me a minute to make the connection…..not firing on all cylinders today 🤣
  5. My buddy installed one of those massive 6-foot dishes in his yard. I think it’s still there, under 30 years of undergrowth. 🤣
  6. I’m a big Hodgson fan! Got to meet he and his son Andrew at the Tralf back around 98-99?
  7. That 2007 Cowboys game had the most amazing atmosphere. It was the long-awaited night game at home, a beautiful late afternoon and sunset, there was literally electricity in the air hours before the game. Then when the game started and so many big plays were happening, it was an exhilarating ride. Until it ended with a crash. But what I remember most about that game was the atmosphere. It’s what makes great sporting events great.
  8. Had a dream the other night where my dog fell into a storm sewer drain and I couldn’t reach down to get him out. I was panicked. I looked up as some people were walking out the door of a building, and recognized Tommy Doyle in street clothes. I yelled for him to come help me rescue my dog. At that point I woke up. Have any weird Bill-related dreams?
  9. This brings back memories! Moved to Syracuse in the 80s and found a newstand that had the Buffalo News Sunday edition the same day and the weekday editions a day or three later. You could reserve a copy by having them write your name in a big red ledger book. Home and most away games were not always shown on the Syracuse stations, especially when the Bills were terrible and the Jets or Giants were on at the same time. There was no local radio coverage so I could sometimes get the game on a Buffalo or Rochester AM station (signals carried a lot farther in the analog days), but usually it was just static and the game faded in and out. It was an awful lot of work to follow a friggin 2-14 team. It was really frustrating when Kelly arrived and interest in the Bills skyrocketed, but it took a few seasons to consistently show the games on local TV.
  10. I’m suspicious that this memory is more about halftime than the Bills game.
  11. I have dozens of DVDs of Bills games and highlights I paid and traded for, paying anywhere from $10 to $20 per game. And now almost every one of those games and the weekly highlights from the 70s are on YouTube. It’s like owning a truckload of Betamax machines. Right @Buftex? 🤣🤣
  12. I had this same question and the response I got was that one woman accused him of sexual assault which in Texas is considered the same as rape since there is no charge called “rape”.
  13. I think some of the comparison originates from the fact that Kraft was initially charged for a sex-related crime but then charges were dropped; he also made a public apology. So the question is did he violate the league’s rules? And Watson’s situation is unique so there’s really no good comparison, but the Kraft case comes closest in a lot of people’s minds. But clearly, they are not the same thing.
  14. Please include all the gift cards that were attached to those 20 years of birthday cards.
  15. I was just making counterpoint to your statement that most recreational users enjoy it in their homes.
  16. Walk around town in Washington DC or NYC and probably any large metropolitan city and you can smell weed everywhere. On the street, in stores and hotels. Everywhere.
  17. I got a great photo of Peters pulling in that catch up high from the corner end zone season seats we had. JP was our great QB hope.
  18. Scalped a ticket along Abbott Road and sat about 2 rows up along the end of the Bills bench. Such a dominant performance and so much fun seeing Shula get his ass kicked in his last game.
  19. Of course. You think every jamoke wearing a Bills jersey goes to a game? 🤨
  20. I admire your ability to put yourself through that. You put more effort into that game than the Bills did.
  21. Put the murderers and rapists on a “Floor of Fame” so we can walk all over them. Or, better yet, put their faces on the back of the urinals.
  22. I imagine there are lots of people in Birmingham that will buy it. It’s not like they have an NFL team (not named Crimson Tide) in their town or even in Alabama.
  23. Edmunds will be gone next year. He’s like the hot blonde with a nice rack - someone will always overpay for him.
