The fact is the only reason Buffalo got a new stadium at all is the income tax from the players and the sales tax from the games made it a reasonable expenditure. They didn’t have to buy up a lot of downtown/waterfront real estate, and greatly modify the infrastructure that would have been a lot more costly downtown. If downtown Buffalo was already a hub for entertainment activity, putting the stadium there would have made more sense. I wonder how often all the people clamoring for a downtown stadium actually go down there now. I bet it’s a very small number. Ten single day events a year is just not worth the cost of putting it there. If there was an economic incentive to do it, you better believe it would be there.

So you can have a closer hotel and bar/restaurant when you come in a few times a year? LOL

If there was money to be made, those things would already be there. A new stadium isn’t going to change the local economy much of at all when it comes to supporting businesses the other 355 days a year when there is no game.

We? Just because you come into town a few weekends a year gives you more right than people who live there and like it a certain way? Does the fact that no development has happened in that same area since 1973 not give you a clue as to what the residents desire for their neighborhood?

It was mostly all moneyline on heavy favorites; every game was at least a double digit spread and I selected the favorite moneyline. Except for Georgia 😭. How else do you think I got 15/16 and 19/20 right?

Last week I thought I had two sure things: 1) Josh would throw 2+ TDs as he had for the last 13 Miami games. 2) Both the Bills and Fins would score 1+ TDs in each half. You know what happened…..those were expensive losses. 🤣 Yesterday, I had a 20 team parlay that was upended when Georgia lost to the spread against Kentucky. And had another 16 game parlay upended by Toledo over Miss. State. Those were only $5 bets that would have paid over $50 for each. Hoping for better outcomes today. Cry or celebrate here!
